I needed to replace my brush. For a replacement, I bought an expensive brush and an inexpensive brush- the cheap brush won. ;) The approx $84 plastic brush was not as effective on my long, thick, naturally curly (Auburn) hair. Plus, the round, plastic handle was not easy or comfortable to hold. Also, the plastic Ionic brush did not achieve tamer hair as advertised. The under $20 wooden/boar bristle brush (made by BASS, also available on Amazon) is excellent, comfortable to hold, and stands up to and controls my wild mane.

I love my new groove Elliptic Hairbrush! I have thick/wavy hair and this brush smooths out my hair and gives it a nice shine. Firm bristles feel great on my scalp. Works great even on wet hair-removes tangles! Definitely worth every penny!

It has a good weight and fits perfectly in the hand, providing a lot of control. It handles like a dream. My thin, delicate hair is gently detangled with the boar bristles at the end. The ionic bristles add smoothness, fullness and shine as I style. It feels amazing on the scalp - a mini massage with every stroke. It has become the favorite part of my morning routine. I am in love!

I love this brush! I tried other brushes like that and they were really soft so they really wouldn’t go through your hair even though I have very thin hair. This one has really hard thick needles in it and it’s perfect you feel like you’re getting a head massage!

My friend recommended this brush and it has wildly exceeded my expectations! I was very apprehensive to try it because I've never been able to find a brush that does anything more for me than detangling. In the past, my thin/fine hair either ends up being stuck to my head or showing every flyaway. After a couple weeks of using this brush on both wet and dry hair I'm obsessed!! It gives my hair life and makes styling and blow outs so much easier. I 100% recommend it!

My daughter and I love this brush so much, I had to buy a second one so we don’t have to fight over it. It feels like heaven on the scalp. Ahhhhhh! It’s the only brush I can use to straighten my fine curly hair on days when I don’t feel like being curly. My daughter has long thick hair and the brush makes it look like silk. THANK YOU!!!!

It’s like getting a scalp massage in your own home. I love this brush. It does a great job of gripping my hair while I blow dry it, resulting in my own true hair-blowout experience. I highly recommend it. Get one! You won’t regret it!
