I liked the quality. I installed it on my 2012 F150. The bushing on a 2012 is not threaded so I had to tap it using a 3/8 - 16 tap. The striker bolt is slightly larger, but by screwing it in slowly, and backing it out a turn every so often it fit. It's tight, exactly what you'd want. Overall very pleased with the parts.

Got this for a $50 bed extender I picked up from the salvage yard. The sleaze bags at the yard didn't include these pivot pins and wanted to charge me $50 on top of the $50 for the extender I purchased from them the previous day, but that's a different story. I installed them on my 2003 Ford Sport Trac XLT with bed extender p/n 1u5a-19g299-aa. Fits prefectly.

Good product /!but!/Tap the hole first!

The part is ok. They're supposed to be self-tapping, but if you've got an older truck you're trying to install these into, you might run into trouble. Of the two pieces, while trying to install them into the factory holes they're meant for, one completely stripped out the threads. The head of the bolt also started to strip out, but my hex bit didn't have a scratch on it. Seems to be a softer metal than I expected, especially for self tapping an existing hole.Disappointing to say the least.But, I sent an email to the seller (Quirkparts), and they sent out a replacement set without hesitation. I was able to get the replacement bolt installed without issue.Overall a positive experience, due to the excellent customer service of Quirkparts.

I bought these hoping they would fit my Ford Sport Trac and they just barely fit as the threaded portion is shorter than the original striker bolts for a Sport Trac. These are for an F150. If you are desperate they will fit a Sport Trac but not very well. Otherwise they are a fine product and I have nothing bad to say about them.

Awesome...stupid easy to install...put bit on impact and impact each one in...took longer to open the package than to put them both in...
