Made of especially fine, soft merino wool, these woolen over pants are suitable even for very small children. Their high knitted waistband not only stops leaks, it keeps baby’s tummy lovely and warm, helping prevent wind. The woolen over pants absorb excess urine, which binds with the lanolin -the natural wax on wool fibers – and is neutralized, so if the woolen over pants have just got a little damp, it is enough to leave it to dry out in the fresh air. Thanks to the natural self-cleaning function of the wool fibers, the pants are left hygienically clean. If all the lanolin in the woolen over pants is used up, or if the pants have been cleaned, lanoline must be added again. The woollen over pants then stop leaks again for several days or weeks.

I've tried every brand but he is just a super pee-er. I've tried inserts
I was at my wits end with a leaky disposable diaper EVERY SINGLE MORNING on my almost-three year old son. He's already in size 6 and I cant go any higher. I've tried every brand but he is just a super pee-er. I've tried inserts, I've doubled up diapers, you name it, I've tried it. I decided to take a chance and go with this wool cover. Is it a little pricey? Sure. Is it a little annoying to prep and wash and lay flat to dry? A little. Does my son look like a little Dutch boy from 1850? Yes lol. But I don't have to do sheets every morning. Priceless. And you can just let it air dry and the antimicrobials get to work (or however wool works)! It's soft enough and he loves wearing them. He wears his disposable diaper, this wool cover, footie pjs, and a walker sleep sack!

I wouldn’t buy these, I wouldn’t recommend them either.
I’m not a happy camper with these and I’m so sad.I’ve never bought these type of wool bottoms because they’ve always been on the pricier side but I decided to take a leap in hopes it would solve our late night leaks. It didn’t. I followed all the instructions via the tag and it hasn’t gotten better. It also came with a weird funky smell when we first got them. I’m honestly so sad as I had the highest hopes these would be awesome and all I can say is I just wish I would’ve saved my money and splurged on a nicer brand or not bought these at all. :(

A Workhorse of A Nightime Cover -- We Love Our Disana Covers
We love these Disana wool covers so much that we have four of them. All four are battle tested with overnight use, and they work fabulously. When they first arrived, I prepped them with a standard wash with Eucalan and then followed it with a lanolizing treatment using the lanolin I had when I was breastfeeding. These covers have never failed us and always keep my little one's bed nice and dry. We also use them under his winter pajamas, and the pajamas are never wet not matter how much he has gone overnight. Little is a toddler now and has a much bigger bladder, and still these Disana covers are my overnight workhorses.I flip them inside out each morning to air out, but other than that, they require very, very minimal maintenance. I have only had to lanolize them every couple of months when I decide to do another soft cleansing with Eucalan. I made the mistake with my first two pairs, but quickly learned that non-felted wool will shrink the more it is exposed to washing (no matter how gentle I was or how tepid the water to prevent shock and shrinkage). Now that I know better, I only cleanse them when they absolutely need it, which is really only when Little has a bowel movement that seeps out onto the wool. Doing so has kept them true to size for a lot longer. These covers look huge when you first get them, but after proper prepping, they are sized just right, in my opinion, with plenty of room to grow.

Rock Star Wool Covers
Great Merino wool diaper cover. This last order I got with two in the grey color had an extra strong smell of sheep. I'm not sure what the difference is from the first time I purchased wool from Disana. It of course does not affect the awesomeness of this cover but I did have to wash it twice to get rid of the stank. Two washings and lanolinizingings later they finally smell *normal*. I would buy one in every color if I could. I love these things. If you haven't tried wool you just are missing out. Especially if you have a heavy wetter. I have heavy wetting twins so, yeah. Enjoy!

Really happy with my purchase - bought a second one
I have had this item for several months now. It has shrunk and felted a little bit with use as is expected with wool. It still works great on my heavy wetter and covers the diaper underneath very well. My son wears 18-2T clothing so I bought him the 2-3T cover and I am happy with the fit, especially now that the cover has shrunk a bit. I just bought a second cover because I liked it so much. I have used Sloomb wool as well and I like Disana better because it's more stretchy. My Sloomb wool gets so tight and is hard to put on. The Disana is very stretchy.

Loose knit style
This wool cover appears well made, however the knit is so loose it would snag easily. I'm not sure how well it would prevent leaks with such a loose knit. I returned it so I can't say for sure.

Essential
The only night time cloth diaper that works. We tried all other styles with PUL diapers and nothing worked without making a really bulky diaper. With the wool shorties, we can use much less absorbing material and she doesn’t leak!

Perfect cover!
These covers are wonderful. Because they’re so soft I still use them with my 4 year old at night in case of accidents. I like that I don’t need to treat the wool as it’s already ready to use.
