Just what I wanted!
This shredder is perfect for my home office needs. It is just the right size to fit neatly under my desk, and the way that the shredder unit fits into the included basket is a great design. When you lift the top off, the shredder automatically shuts off from the auto position that I leave it in, which is a nice safety feature. My previous shredder that lasted many years was the regular strip-cut kind, and this cross-cut style is so much better at making the shreds tiny and impossible to piece the document back together, which is the whole point. Good design, good function, good price.

it doesn't seem like it will last long
I chose this one because it said "ultra-quiet." I know quiet and this isn't quiet. Also, it doesn't seem like it will last long. It took some effort to get it to shred a credit card and the slot is so slim it doesn't easily fit 8.5 x 11 paper and multiple sheets. It's a stretch to say it will fit 6 sheets at a time. It will have to be very cheap low pound paper. Not a good buy.

I think it's a great value.
It's not exactly quiet but it works well and seems solid. It also doesn't shred into little bits - about 2" x .25" strips. But for the money, I think it's a great value.

Nice and small for easily being put under a desk ...
Showed up quickly and works really go so far. Nice and small for easily being put under a desk or in a corner of the office. A great home office addition.

Overheats and it is still brand New
I used the paper shredder for less than 5 minutes and it overheated, the red light came on and everything stopped, It took at least 15 or 20 minutes before the shredder would work again. So I tried shredding again and the same thing happened, less than 5 minutes of shredding and it overheats. I wasn't even feeding it the max number of papers it is supposed to take. I am sending this back, I have had cheaper shredders work better than this.

Not thrilled with this one.
Not the best quality product. Clogs easily and doesn't cut cleanly. Heats up fast. Seems to labor with anything more than one page at a time.

Works well. Not silent.
I'm a dude that just joined the work force after college, and it works for my purposes. Not silent at all though ha.
