I purchased it to wash my makeup sponges. It came with a small screwdriver, which I truly appreciate. It doesn't come with batteries, so be prepared. When I first started the machine, about half of the water spilled out of the top. I figured I just needed less water. I tried keeping it at a lower level, but I noticed water was still leaking, always leaving a puddle underneath. Truthfully, for the price, it's a fun little machine to have and maybe use from time to time, but not very effective. Also, I used a Real Techniques sponge and it barely fit. I left it spinning too long, and It actually cut into my sponge.
