These candles were the best thing I have ever seen or used before...well, for the first 24 hours. The very next day I used them and first one candle began flickering on and off like it was about ready to die, but I had clearly used the remote to turn them all equally off from the first use only one day prior. So I jiggled the bottom a bit and tightened the battery cover and it went back to the normal multi-color status of all the other seemingly functioning properly candles. All 12 lit simultaneously lasted only for a short time thereafter, when a totally different candle began doing the same identical thing! So I did the same thing, thinking maybe another battery was loose. Again, that candle resumed operation but then soon after just went completely dead. This increased more and more as the night went on and I was a bit embarrassed since this happened right in the middle of an important event, and I had just previously bragged up and down to all our guests how fantastic my online find was and just how excited I was about these and the fact they could be operated via remote control. I was franticly trying to correct the malfunctioning candles right there in the middle of the event and it was sort of like the trick candles trying to be blown out on a birthday cake only this was the opposite effect; the more I tried to correct each of the extinguishing candles, the more and more increasingly would go out in the room until only just a few were lit for the remainder of the night. I am hoping to have a whole new set sent to me as these are clearly defective or maybe just cheaply made and were just not tested properly. At any rate, I am willing to have the seller convince me otherwise and to give these candles another whirl, and see what happens. Please be aware that this could happen to you so make sure that you purchase these well in advance if you plan on using them for any special occasions.
