Instep Coupler Attachment Schwinn Bike Trailers

I don't know anything about bikes. Like, I had to ask the guy at the bike shop how to use the gears on the bike I just bought. But the trailer that some friends gave us had this coupler part number written on it (thankfully!), so I bought this set of two. I was a little nervous reading a couple reviews that stated these couplers didn't work with their Trek bikes, but it worked on my Trek FX1 just fine. In fact, I was originally going to take the bike back to the shop where I bought it to have them attach the coupler, but the directions looked so simple I just did it myself. Worked like a charm!

I used this coupler to attach my Schwinn double bike trailer to my Giant Rincon mountain bike which has quick release wheels. This is perfect for what I needed, and came in a double pack which is even better. In the package there were 2 coupler attachments and 2 tab washers AND they are packaged separately which is good if you only need one set for now and dont want to lose the pieces of the other. . My only complaint is that the instructions are not very good at all. Thankfully I had already looked up how to install them on youtube so I knew how to do it but I found the written directions quite confusing even though installation is surprisingly easy. Also the price is very affordable. Most local places (even the actual bike shops) do not carry this product for whatever reason and the one place that did wanted $25 for 1 coupler!

Bought these for mine and my husbands bike so we could switch the kids bike trailer from bike to bike easily. They work as they should, haven't had any issues whatsoever and we have had them almost for a year in March. It was very easy to set up, and they got here very fast. I highly recommend.

We bought a bike trailer at a garage sale but didn't have the coupler attachment. These fit perfectly and work exactly as they should. When arrived it was missing a washer from one of them so I contacted the seller and they sent the washer replacement. This is a great product and a great seller.

Fits easily mad works with our double Schwinn trailer like it was meant to be. High quality and a deal for two! We carry two kids in the trailer at about 70 pounds together with no notable stress on the attacher. We've had it for about two months now with no problems.

I initially bought one of these couplers for our Schwinn bike trailer to make sure it worked, then I went back and bought two more. We have these attachments on our cruiser, road bikes, and mountain bikes. They are very affordable and easy to install.A word to the wise: small parts! Make sure you either install these right when you get them or that you keep them in a plastic zippy bag or other safe place, as there is a small disk that can easily get lost if you're not careful!

Works great on my bike and I love that it has a full set of instructions! Unfortunately, they don't fit on my husband's bike because he has the easy-off rear tire and it won't fit.

Does the trick on my hybrid and dual sport bikes but this will NOT fit on my fat bike( KHS 500 ) because of the Derailleur Hanger .Way easy to install.

I made the hole a little bit bigger for my larger Ebike axle and I cruise around with my dogs in tow.

Worked with my old instep joyrider trailer. Delivery was quick and installation easy.

It is great to have an extra coupler, so we can use different bikes to pull the bike trailer
