Poorly constructed and rougher than expectedThe wood on these is very rough hewn and the parts are poorly assembled. Key joints are held together with flimsy staples, meaning that the wood slats and corners easily come loose. Though the wood itself is redwood and may withstand the elements, I doubt the staples will last for long and I have already had to reattach pieces using my own galvanized nails. If you think of this item as a crude, rustic kit, in which you have to provide your own nails and screws and a bit of effort, you may be satisfied. It is not, however, a well-finished, solid planter.
