We wanted a DVD player to watch some classic movies that we treasure on discs. This DVD player was just exactly what we need, light and small to tuck it in under the TV without taking too much space. The remote control is also small and light; just the way we prefer. But if you are looking for a fancy DVD player this is not it. Otherwise, this was the perfect gift for my tween daughter. The only thing that I wish it was better is that the range of the remote is too short. Other than that, if you are looking for a plain and simple DVD player, this is a great deal. The installation was super easy, just make sure you are plugging the cables in the corresponding plugging. Don't make the mistake of only going by the colors.

This DVD player sucks! It quit working after about 35 days. Right past the 30 days you have to return it.

With considerable effort I got it to work. I have no idea who made it. It has no manufacturer name on it or in the manual. The manual is a cut-and-paste job from past (and perhaps long gone) brands of DVD players, and is quite useless. To play or pause it says “push the Play key, or Pause key on the remote.” But there are no Play or Pause keys any where to be found. If you want to know how long a movie, for example, has to run, you can press the Time key, the manual says. But there is no Time key. Press Step to get stop-motion it says, but there is no Step key. I used the Zoom key to enlarge a letterbox aspect, but then “2X” appeared in middle of the screen and I could not get rid of it. Also, when viewing in a zoomed format, I could not fast-forward. There was no 800-number to call. No address to write to. Be forewarned!

We bought this for our kids play room, because a person can only watch paw patrol so many times, and it works great. We havent had a single issue. Super easy to use, great picture quality, and light weight.

This was good until I accidentally placed the CD awkwardly in the tray and the it stop working and won't open any more. I had to take it apart get my CD. Bummer! Great for Euro CD. Just don't place it the tray awkwardly...ok?

I bought this DVD player very recently. It is wonderful for what I need. I play a DVD and let it loop in the background while I do things around the house. So for that, it works well. I have watched a couple of movies on it and the only issue I had was not being able to quickly figure out how to add closed caption. The DVD also makes a bit of a sound, almost like a grinding. I was able to overlook the sound, but it rather annoyed my husband. He figured by messing with the audio wires, it would help. He was right! So, if you’re experiencing that issue then I would recommend doing that. Overall, if you’re looking for a no-thrills DVD player that will do just that, play DVDs, then this is a great purchase!

Great all around basic DVD player. Plug and play set up. The cord is shorter than expected ( I have an odd set up ). Great picture and sound quality.
