I've never used toaster bags before so I was a bit curious and wanted to see how well they worked. I washed them in warm soapy water first then patted them inside and out with a paper towel so I could try them. For toast I found I needed to turn the heat up a notch, but the toast still browned through the bag. I burned the edges of one piece when I tried to get the temperature and time correct, the dogs didn't mind though, they love my kitchen mistakes.I reheated half a turkey sandwich inside one of these for lunch using my toaster oven and it worked very nicely, the cheese melted inside the sandwich and I avoided using a dish or sheet of foil to warm it up on. These work very well for poptarts too, especially if you use a regular upright toaster. No more worries of the corners breaking and dropping down into the toaster, or having the entire poptart turn sideways making it hard to remove.These would work great for single portion sizes of chicken nuggets for the kids too. They will be crispy and taste much better than using the microwave. These toaster bags clean up great, just warm soapy water and let them air dry. They are dishwasher safe if you wash in a low to medium setting. These are temperature safe for up to 500°F so they would also work well on the grill. These are interesting and after trying them I actually like using them, I love experimenting with things in the kitchen. I received this as a free review sample. Note, this is not the first set of toaster bags I own. I was introduced to this type of product over a year ago and frequently use them. These are identical to bags I already own.My main use is with my counter top press grill. It's perfect for making panini and is far less messy than without this bag. The grilled panini using this is also moister.I've also used these bags for quick grilling fish filets. I tried a piece of skinless salmon filet with a thinly sliced piece of lemon and it did the job perfectly. Bear in mind that I love my salmon (and ahi) very rare in the middle, so my experience with fish may not be as enjoyable to your palate.It's easy to clean, even when you grill fish. I use the recommended hot, soapy water, rinse thoroughly and air dry by placing the bag over a sixteen ounce glass upside down.Ironically, I have not used these in a toaster. I own one, but so rarely use it that it has never occurred to me to try. For counter top press grills, though, these bags truly make a difference with some foods.
