Harmony Kids Devon Glider, Chocolate Micro

This chair is super comfortable. I thought after reading the reviews that it would cheap and hard, but the deal for this specific color was so good that I had to find out for myself. I think it is super comfortable. It rocks and swivels in all directions. The only problem I see having with this chair is that it is so comfy and squishy that it takes a little effort to get back up out of it (although I am 7 months pregnant and that may have something to do with it). Great deal, modern comfy chair at 1/3 of the price of other gliders. Try it and decide for yourself.

My expectations for this glider weren't all that high, considering we purchased it for a fairly low price, but I was still disappointed. The main issue is that the construction of the bottom where the swivel/glider mechanism attaches is very poor, so when you sit in the chair it leans forward and to the left (even if you make a point to lean back and right as you sit). It also is so low to the ground that it doesn't let you glide very far. The chair also seems to be made with a cheap foam filling that probably won't hold up to heavy usage, though we are returning it so I won't be testing that out. It looks nice, but if you are actually planning to sit in it regularly I wouldn't recommend this chair.

I am so happy with this glider. Not only does it look good! its the most comfortable glider I have ever sat in. I would recommend for any nursery. I rock my baby to sleep every night. Sometimes if I want a quick nap I go to the nursery and snuggle up and rock myself to sleep....I couldn't be happier.

My wife and I had been on what we dubbed "The Great Glider Search" for probably 4 months when we came across this chair. It was exactly what we wanted: modern, chocolate brown, and most of all, inexpensive. I'm not sure why, but when we purchased the chair a few weeks ago it sold for $200 w/ free shipping. Now it's up to $500, which is laughable. When we got the chair we were both very, very excited - until we sat in it. This chair feels incredibly cheap. It's filled with what feels like some sort of lightweight foam. The back sits nearly straight up and is hard as a rock. Needless to say, this is not something that we would want to sit in on a daily basis in our nursery. Avoid this chair.
