Worth Every Penny
This is by far the best pool pole that I have ever owned. Itโs pricey, but itโs solid and so easy to adjust. No more fumbling hoping that I donโt pool the long end out of the small end of the pole to get the deep end clean. I thought it would feel heavy but it doesnโt and itโs very comfortable in my hands. Highly recommend this one.

Top of the line pole!
Wow..what a difference a quality piece of equipment this is. I've own our pool for 30 years and have always bought those cheap poles that last a couple of seasons if you are lucky. This new ProTuff is no joke. Its built like a tank. It's a heavy pole but it balances well. I absolutely love the double button release mechanism just really solid. This pole is expensive but buy once cry once! Now my son doesn't have anymore excuses not to clean the pool because our old poles were so hard to use.

Very well made, with smooth and reliable function.
This thing is honestly the best pool pole I've ever had. The tubing is nice and thick, and it has some kind of coating that makes it smooth to the touch. The extension mechanism is dead simple to use, and works very well. It doesn't slip, and doesn't feel cheap at all. I'll be surprised if it breaks. The only problem I've had with it so far is some pitting of the metal, but that's entirely user error. My kids leave it submerged in the pool practically 24/7 so the chlorine has gone to work on it somewhat, but even with that abuse, it's holding up amazingly well. I haven't had experience with the replacement guarantee yet, so I can't comment on that part,

This pole is strong, durable, & reliable! It still works like new--4 yrs later.
This pole is fantastic. Very sturdy & durable. I've had it 4 yrs and the only thing worn is the black rubber handle at the end. ProTuff sent me a new handle & super glue for free. The only thing with that is to either wear gloves or be careful with super glue spillage. The telescoping mechanism still works perfectly (after 4 yrs)--no corrosion or sticking. My only advise is to pick the length carefully. I have a 15,000 gal pool and bought the 16' pole. I would have been better off with the 12'. I sweep from shallow to deep since that is where the main drains are located. Also the Kreepy Krauly tends to stay in the deep half. Unless you have a large pool (25,000 gals) the 12' probably would suffice and it would be easier to handle. The 16' pole is not too heavy but it's not light or flimsy either.

Solid Product that works well and will last
Yes, this product is expensive, but it is also really well made. I bought this because I was unhappy with the cheap telescoping pole I bought at wal-mart. I tried to find a product that was better than the $30 poles but less expensive than this one, but I ended up giving up the search because I wasn't confident in the other products. I really wanted to buy something that would last for 20 years and I think this will do it. The extension mechanism works well and provides a solid lock at each indentation. The pole does not flex and yes, is a bit heavier than the cheap telescoping pole I had but it really doesn't affect its useability in my opinion.

Very sturdy
When I first saw this, I thought "who would pay that much for a pool pole?" About a year later, I answered that question with "me." The pole extends very easily by pressing the two buttons on the collar and locks into position without any twisting and turning of a screw mechanism. I use this with the silt net bottom skimmer and the 16 foot length is necessary to reach the bottom of the high foot deep end. I once over-collapsed the pole and was unable to extend it, but the collar was relatively easy to disassemble, correct the problem, and reassemble. Seeing the inner workings made me admire the engineering design of the lock collar.

Best pool pole ever!!!!!!!!!!
While yes it is expensive.....it is as straight as the day i bought it. I pick up heavy leaves fully extended. I bend the poles while cleaning intentionally but to my surprise it still is straight. Best pool pole ever. It's perfect buy this pool and you'll never have to buy another ever again

Tough but not that tough, not perfect but worth it
If you're reading this, first of all this is the best pool pole out there(I would know I've tried many), if you don't use it a lot(just for your own pool) it will last forever(the warranty is top notch and they will communicate with you promptly) But if you use it a lot like I do it's not perfect but still worth it, with my own personal modifications as to how I use it because I'm rough with it and use it a lot. Tough but not that tough, as you can see I've modified it a bit. The bottom tip has a ball cause I drop it that way a lot, the handle comes off easily after a while and the glue they have in and they send in(if you put a warranty claim for the handle) doesn't really hold. I initially zip tied it cause the rubber part of the handle kept slipping but then the zip ties became a nuisance as it was hurting my grip. So this is my fix for that so far it's been great. The locking mechanism is great, the best out there. But after a couple of drops as you can see the lock button came off, the red part gets lose(find yourself a screwdriver and tighten it before it starts to crack like mine did eventually) but as far as I can tell you only need one button thing to lock and unlock the pole. It's never slip once it's locked in place, so far the lock holes are starting to show signs of wear. The top part(where you put in the net/brush etc.) has cracked so it's a bit lose so that's my fix. It is a bit hefty but I like it that way. I wish I had gotten the 12ft one. If you use this only for your pool I doubt you'll have any of this issues. For me I've been using this close to a year now. And I've used this over a thousand times by now. It's my longest lasting pole. If you use this once a week/month it may outlast your pool.
