Fiberglass mesh GOLD, is the UL certified product of Warmset. The fiberglass mesh allows to install the product in situation when you need to embed it into screed, thin-set or self-leveling compound. The external layer is made in polyimide film (gold clolour), a material with very high performances in thermal and flammability resistance. Fiber Glass Mesh Gold UL electric underfloor heating system is composed by a strip of 17 mm, which is spread on a glass fiber network with a standard width of 500 mm. Conductors inside are mainly made up of rolled aluminium and other metal alloys with polyester film. The strip has an average thickness of 3-4 mm with a maximum of 6 mm on head and tail connections. Length and coil power are variable: 1 to 40 m in length and from 30 to 600 W/m²compatible with product's features. The space between webbing and webbing inside coil varies from 25 to 70 mm, this guaranteeing a surface coverage of more than 40% of the area. The presence of the layer laminated Kapton and glass fabric on the outside ensures a very high resistance to flame and makes the product completely fireproofing and self-extinguishing.
