Toba Romeo Front Rack - Black

SUPER heavy rack, which may not be a bad thing, but one of the screws sheared off in the adjusting arm and can't get it out. So rack is basically useless know (unless i can get someone to weld it in place)

I have a Mongoose Beast with 4" wide tires and I had to stretch it a tad to fit around the tires, but its perfect.Great quality, well built, super sturdy and looks awesome.Shipped on time, packaged well.

Great one to try out love it so I order two more for my other bike

Three stars because it is nearly impossible to find dimensions for this rack.Top surface: 175 mm x 300 mm (approximately 7 x 12 inches)Max Capacity: 18 kg (39.68 lbs)Built from 16 mm aluminum 6061 tubes.UPDATE:After MUCH research I found a copy of the "Installation Guide #730074" PDF for this rack (on Cycles Lambert ftp site --- see trademark note below). Even in this document there are no clear pictures of the installation. The top of the rack is mounted to the fork via metal strap that is held in place by the 6mm through the fork crown (intended for mounting caliper brakes). The holes in the bottom of the two struts are intended for use with 5mm axle "skewer". There are instructions for an "alternate" installation that involves drilling out those holes to accommodate a 9mm or 9.5mm axle. It is IMPOSSIBLE to tell from the instructions if the struts mount from the front or the rear of fork (but I am guessing front). The installation is supposed to add 12mm to required length of the axle --- so check your axle/skewer length.Lastly the instructions state:"Products are covered under a lifetime warranty against defect in materials and workmanship, that would keep products from completing its usual task.
