The description says Windows OR Mac (I needed the Mac version) the Mac version is also ancient and will not install unless you go around your computer's security measures. Even the recompiled version didn't work at first because they are trying to send Arduino Uno drivers for Windows but the board they sent was an Adafruit. So ultimately I was the one that got it working once I found the correct drivers. So I have it running on another Windows machine and have it piped into my Mac via HDMI out so the resolution looks horrible on rebroadcast. Seller is not willing to build new software for his ancient hardware so I'm stuck with it until I can come up with something better. For almost 300$ what a joke!!! The hardware is hardly worth half of what I paid and the software is just a joke. A shabbily recompiled version of the original program written in 2008. Yes really. Software guy and SELLER have since cut off communication with me. The last version of this software was made in 2009. The software doesn't work and the drivers don't work. I'm returning this product immediately. I can't believe desertcart let's people like this on their platform. What a joke. DO NOT BUY!!! They sell the same thing (without the direction vane and with a bicycle speedometer) for 89$. It might me worth 50$ at the most. This is a complete scam. And Also, the anemometer uses a REED SWITCH, not a HALL SENSOR. Would be completely inaccurate at higher speeds. This seller needs to be removed from desertcart until their product is updated and described accurately. You've been warned. Update #2 7-7-2023: The manufacturer's web site is now completely non-functional so you cannot download the drivers or software from them AT ALL!!
