Good Quality Nice Contained
I wanted to get something that had a good airtight container to store the clay in after use. This fit the bill. It cleans very well absorbing all of the contaminants. Worked well to make the paint feel glossy and shiny. This is a higher quality than what I have used previously. A little on the softer side compared to mothers branded ones, but works very very well. No residue left behind and is easy to work with.

It works well, I can feel the difference on the car's paint surface.
I was so disoriented with so many choices and reviews, finally opted for this one. I used 1/3 of a bar to detox a mid sized car. Hint: Dilute a bit car wash soap into a spray bottle, filled with purified or distilled water and you will have an expensive spray solution to work with this clay. Mix Ratio: About 1/2 ounce to a 16 oz spray bottle, should do the trick. Just enough to make the clay slippery on surface when detoxing paint clearcoat, always rub clay on straight line motion, no swirling. Also regularly play with and reform the clay around, keeps gathered particles from over scratching you car's surface. Pheew, done!

Does the job at a great price!
The media could not be loaded. This TAKAVU clay bar was priced right, came packaged well. The twist cap plastic container was great for storing. When it came to removing built in contamination it did the trick with ease. Pulled particles out and returned to a smooth glass like finish. I used with soaping car wash solution didn’t buy any specific clay lube. It worked fine. The clay did break down a little quicker than expected but my car wash contained citrus which could have led to quicker breakdown. I’ll try with a different soapy wash solution next time. Overall for the price these clay bars are great. Since you don’t need to clay on a regular basis a two pack is just great.

Ok for beginners!
My old clay bars and speedy prep towels were all worn out! Since all my previous prep material was old I decided to look for newer products that might be able to compete with the big guys. I saw all the positive reviews on the Takavu clay bars and thought I would give them a shot.To keep it short, they cannot compete with Meguiars, Mothers and Clay Magic. They will work on lightly contaminated cars that are frequently maintained. If you are looking to clean up a car that has not been clayed in while go with the better brand.Won’t complain much since the price for what is does is reasonable.

Good Price. Good Product.
Just like any clay bar, use plenty of lubricant. Works well.

Used it today for first time and was pleased
Used it with a clay lube product here on Amazon. I did two cars and it held up. No complaints. This was my 2nd time using clay on any car. If the question is whether you should clay or not. then you definitely should. The car is so smooth and got back some of it's original car color back. My Tesla got smoother. And for my black 2011 SUV that I never clayed before... it restored it quite well. It's so smooth. I think if I buffed the car, I'd get it back to new car quality so I'll consider that. If you have those very lite scratches in your paint, then the clay bar won't get rid of those. That's something you need to buff out. If you run your hand on your car and it feels like speckles of sand paper even are there even after you wash you car and wax it... .then you need to clay your car. It took about 35 minutes. {update} After a few more applications, I came realize that using a clay lube product is not needed. You just need clean soapy car wash. So. I I've come to learn that you MUST wash your car first to remove as much debris as possible. Then rinse the car. So I'll use through away the soapy water, mix up a small fresh batch in a clean bucket and go in 5 foot sections. I'll apply soapy water with a clean wash cloth and run the clay bar back in forth in one direction in the section, then go back over the same area perpendicular to the angle I went through the first time. I'll run my bare hand over some areas to see if I feel if it's smooth. When done with that area, I'll wipe the area with the soapy wash cloth and rinse it off before moving onto the next section. That's why you don't want to do this work on a hot day. The water will just dry out too fast otherwise. After I'm done, I'll rinse the whole car and dry the car down. I find that finishing the car with an si02 spray applied with microfiber is the best finishing touch and make the car really sparkle. I don't wax anymore. si02 is all you need. I can see needing to do this 1-2 times per year. The jar this comes in is super cheap plastic. if choosing this vs another brand just cuz of the container.. don't bother. It's not worth it. This product did it's job and held up well.
