Hageland Belgian Premium Dark Chocolate Sea Salt 54% Cocoa 10.5 Ounce (2 Pack)

I remember getting these from Walmart YEARS ago (the only place with Belgian chocolate that wasn’t crazy expensive) but then they vanished without a trace. Finding Hageland again on Amazon was amazing. Tastes just as good as I remember and unless I’m mistaken these bars look bigger, which I would hope considering the price per bar is a couple dollars shy of triple what Walmart used to sell their bars for. As long as Amazon keeps these in stock, I’ll keep stocking up on it every few months or so.The pieces when broken up are rather large so unless you’ve got a big enough mouth, you may have to divide each piece up in order to savor it without destroying the roof of your mouth. It’s not the kind of chocolate you’re going to want to gobble down in an entire sitting. You will want to savor it in order to experience all the hidden flavors of the dark chocolate. It starts out bitter like most dark chocolate but gets progressively sweeter the more you savor it.

Pros: deliciousCons: the bar is so thick you have to slam and turn it multiple times against a hard surface to break it into bite sized pieces. Luckily the packaging is strong.

I ordered $200 in bars, took the box off the porch within 60 seconds of delivery. All bars were melted into goo. Hageland said they'd authorize a return but they won't provide a return number. Good chocolate but they will never get another order from me.

This is a great value and tasty. The bars are thick and 54% cocoa is a perfect balance for me with the sea salt.
