I bought this to use after having surgery on my hand as they wanted that as part of the therapy. I purchased it in August as my surgery was in September. I have tried to use it three times since four weeks after surgery. After the wax heats up all 12 screw start dropping and the tank falls down. I am not sure what happens as the screws can be put back in as the threads are still there. I am going to contact the company and see what they will do.Update: contacted the company, they responded the next day. So far impressed with customer service. They will be returning my money. I will update after that happens.Second update: Money was refunded within three days. They sent me a different model paraffin wax machine. So far that has worked fine. I do not like the machine as I wanted a bigger pot so my hand would fit in deeper. Also the direction say it melts in 25-30 minutes which is not true. It took 1 hour and 38 minutes to melt. Then you need to cook it so you can put your hand into it. From start to finish it took 3 hours.I want to say that their customer service representative, Kelly, was exceptional to deal with. She tried to make me a happy customer - it was their product that is not good. I am raising my rating from a two to a three, the extra star for the wonderful customer service.

This product heated wax to 240 °F upon first use. It continued to draw about 315 Watts of power even after I turned the switch to the Off position! The red indicator light was inactive while it continued to heat.I used an instant read thermometer to test the accuracy of the thermostat. I’m glad I did because I would have received severe burns had I touched the wax for even a moment. It was hotter than boiling water.This product is incredibly unsafe and should be immediately recalled before someone gets hurt.

My husband had an extensive surgery done on his wrist and and problems fitting his hand in my 12” oval paraffin machine. I picked this machine for length and rectangular shape and we love it. We like the temperature control flexibility, the time it takes to melt (safely, not a constant very hot setting) and also the fact that it is cool on the outside. I feel safe leaving it on all day and night at times. it takes more wax than came with it but I knew that when I bought it.

I didn't like anything about something that so quickly fell apart. I returned the first and ordered a 2nd paraffin wax machine through Amazon Prime and the second was even worse than the first. After the first use, all the screws fell out and it wouldn't even turn on. It took so long for the second machineon to come that the weather was so warm, I hardly needed it and so I waited to use it, and now my 30 days is up and I can't even return it. Please don't buy this item, it is a piece of junk and Amazon should be ashamed to sell it on their site. I will also hesitate to use Amazon again since there is no way to contact them and explain my situation so that I can get a refund.

This runs way too hot. I kept trying to turn it down but it wouldn't go any further. I can't stand to use it because of the temperature. I did A TON of research before I bought this and I was confident this was the one I wanted but I was wrong! I had to buy a different one! Don't waste your money!!

I had overlooked ordering the paraffin bath in time for Christmas.So when the Amazon van pulled up my kids were excited to give this to their mom.It did not take the 30 seconds for her to notice there was already wax residue all inside of the machine punctuated with a big dent . I don’t know about you but I am not toI psyched To have other peoples Dead skin particles arrive as a gift.Fingers crossed for the return

It worked twice then died. We checked the fuse, cord, outlet, everything. Amazon refunded without question. When it did work I thought it got way too hot.

10/22/19 While attempting to use this Kolem Paraffin Bath for only the third time since receiving it on 9/11/19, I heard a noise from the unit. Upon investigation I found that the tank had dropped about 1/2 inch and that the unit had overheated the wax to over 200 degrees F. The temperature control goes up to only 144 degrees F. The plastic grate at the bottom go so hot that it distorted.
