So I bought the combo as shown above. The bushing - relatively easy to install if you have any technical acumen and a little patience and can follow directions. Works as advertised no burs on the bushing, or obvious machine marks. Looks just like the photo. Why i only selected 4 stars is due to the LCI part of the project. Oh lord how I tried to get the factory pin out. Kroil/WD-40/Royal Purple/KY Jelly/etc.... I even used a rare earth magnet from my kids science kit and a massive rubber mallet - that damn pin still won't come out. The part looks great, I can only imagine it will fit and function as intended based on experience with the bushing - but it's no joke your factory pin MAY not come out so easy. If I knew what I know now I would have ensured I could get the pin out before ordering the combo and just opted for the bushing for now until I had a solution for the pin on the LCI.

The instructions are very easy to follow, making installation a breeze. I had no issues at all, including removal of the "loaded chamber" indicator retaining pin. (Others had commented that they could not get the pin to pull out. I used a relatively weak magnet at the end of a telescoping pick up tool. But my Mark III was new, with perhaps only 200-300 rounds fired before I installed the upgrade kit.)The components appear to be of very high quality, and the functioning is flawless. This definitely makes taking down a Mark III easier for thorough cleaning. To me, this is "safety" upgrade. (With a clean firearm, you reduce the risks of jams and FTFs. When a firearm is easier/quicker to clean, you're more apt to do so.)

My mark 3 ran great right out of the box, however cleaning it was another story. With the mag. disconnect installed magazine had to be removed and reinstalled numerous times in a certain sequence. Installation was easy except I pulled hammer pin out too far and lost the safety detent plunger. Thank Ruger for the replacement. With this kit installed you basically have a new mark 3 that functions like a mark 2 with the magazine release where it should be. Everything fits and looks nice. Thanks Tandemkross

 I want to thank you first of because my son is better and improve his behavior with this spinner it helps him with his anxiety attacks he love watching it spins around and he plays with it very well this is a great you too have for your child or a family member that suffers from anxiety attacks.

Fantastic. A little time and patients and you have a MK3 that is easier to take down and reassemble. Magazine loads without catching, ejects cleaner. This is a simple must do conversion if you own an MK3.
