Too many poor Quality tools for the Price
I ordered one of these kits as a test for outfitting my Tech Pool with some decent looking all in one kits with some limited test equipment. What we received was a mix of decent quality tools and a lot of poor quality tools. The Screwdrivers are always my best easy test of the quality of a tool kit. The metal was soft and the hardened steel tips were just painted black as a illusion. The black paint came off on the first use and the tips stripped and bent when used on standard rack screws. The test equipment included in the kit was of poor quality and likely could be purchased off Alibaba for less than $10. Lastly, the bit driver screwdriver came loose from the handle which was of cheap plastic and just glued together to hold it to the shaft. It only lasted about 3 or 4 uses. There are some good parts of the kit, to include most of the pliers, scissors and diagonal cutters, which seem well constructed and useful. Additionally, the tape measure is good quality with strong brake/release and magnetic tip that holds well on metal while extending the tape out for measurements. If not for the high price of this kit, which should indicate quality. I probably would have taken the good with the bad and just replaced the inferior components. However, at $900 a pop for these kits, I am asking the vendor for an RMA and for them to reconsider listing these kits and this brand on their website.More to come on this as I seek my RMA. But I would suggest moving on from this brand and selecting something of lower cost where you can justify having some cheaply made components.V/RIT Manager
