I enjoy the individual compartments and find that they are big enough to hold my makeup jars of all sizes. The organizer does not come together and will need to be put together. But assembly was very easy and had instructions that were easy to follow. I personally love the extra area for only brushes. I use mineral makeup and have lots of brushes.
