Noise Blocker PR-2 BlackSilentPro Fan (60 x 60 x 25 mm)

This is a pricy fan, but it truly is quiet for my setup. I'm using it on an old Alpha heatsink on a Slot 1 Pentium 3. It's probably over kill for that application, considering the price, but even with 2 fans going, it's super quiet. Install it properly, and it should be quiet. Leave out the extra parts, and I could imagine it would be just as noisy as any other fan. I'm pretty satisfied with them. If I ever need another small fan of this size, I would certainly consider buying more of these.

If all you are concerned about is noise then this may be for you but if you want a cooling fan then look elsewhere.I bought this because it claimed to be a "High static pressure" fan. While it did not understand the numbers I did know I needed a high static pressure fan for pushing through a filter device I made.Turns out with this fan on I could feel nearly nothing with my hand in front of it. I had to hold it up to my face to feel any wind at all. Turns out 0.85 H2O this is rated at is not high pressure at all. Found another fan the same size that was 4.7 (over 550% more).Seriously, this thing would not blow out a candle.

This is quite the nice fan. I used this as a cooling fan for the VRMs on my motherboard. Make no mistake, this isn't a tornado-making, banshee-howling, vacuum cleaner fan. If you want that, look elsewhere. But, if you want a quiet, well-made fan with decent performance, this is the best option by far.

Ho acquistato questa ventola con l'intento di sostituire quella di stock del mio UPS, eccessivamente rumorosa, insopportabile.Con qualche modifica al connettore di alimentazione, l'ho installata perfettamente all'interno del box dell'UPS.La ventola giunge in confezione di cartone corredata da viti, gommini anti-vibrazione e cavo inguainato in calza plastica, tutto totalmente in colorazione nero.Di ottima manifattura Tedesca, emette un DISCRETO flusso di aria.Alimentandola e mantenendola in mano non si avverte alcun rumore, si avvicina alla totale silenziosità, nonostante ciò, montata sul box dell'UPS, probabilmente a causa della sua particolare conformazione, non sono riuscito nel mio intento: il rumore che percepisco è praticamente identico alla ventola stock.

...poco da aggiungere se non PERFETTE! ..confezione veramente COMPLETA di ogni accessorio, ben costruite, funzionano con ogni voltaggio e regolazione continua..(al contrario di altre altrettanto famose che vanno a 5 o 12V!!) Ancora da testare come silenziosità e quantità di flusso ma..mi aspetto come da premesse..il meglio!

Ich habe den Lüfter als zusätzlich Zuluftquelle in meinen PC gebaut und schon nach dem ersten Starten diesen direkt wieder ausgebaut.Dieser Lüfter hat ein lautes und penetrantes Summen, was sich absolut nicht ignorieren lässt.

Ein 60mm Lüfter ist eben Laut, da hilft auch ein agressives Marketing nichts. Der Lieferumfang ist reichlich, der Preis daher auch hoch. Im Vergleich zu anderen Lüftern ist dies bestimmt ein sehr guter Lüfter und auch die Homepage des Herstellers ist sehr aufwendig gestaltet. Ich würde dennoch jedem raten in seinem Lüfterkonzept nur großrotorige Lüfter mit geringer Drehzahl einzusetzen, außer Lautstärke spielt keine Rolle.
