Suzuki Humming-Tremolo-21-G Harmonica

Thank Suzuki for making such quality musical instrument, the harmonica has beautiful timbre, every note is clear, sensitive and accurate, especially Key-G plays very very nice tone. The harmonica is little pricing but absolutely worth it if you would like to have a good harmonica to pursue with. I love it and highly recommend it.

This costs about three times as much as Hohner's echo celeste, but I'm glad I paid the extra. I have two celestes, and both have the same problem - it is practically impossible to get any sound from reeds at the top end of the instrument, and the sound I can get is not very musical. Every reed of the humming tremolo is responsive, and the instrument has a great tone. If you know that you want to play a solo-tuned tremolo harmonica, and you are thinking of performing in front of an audience, this is the instrument to go for.

First off, if you want a 21 or 24 hole tremolo harmonica, Suzuki Humming is your only choice. And when they work, these sound great and are the only choice. BUT, the reeds break very easily. I only use mine a few minutes a day, and 2 of these have already broken this year. Luckily, the second one I purchased the 4 year warranty, so I will get a replacement for that one. Also, it seems the G reed is especially susceptible. I have a C and F and both are ok after a couple years. But 2 tries with the G and both broke in less than 4 months. Anyway, I think it was like 5 dollars for the warranty and it will save you a $70 replacement, probably a number of times over 4 years.

Exceptional sound!

Very nice, beats the cheap Hohner I started on. The only thing I don't care for is that the hole for the tonic is lined with a gray plastic, making the walls for that hole a little thicker. Throws off my tongue blocking. I'm getting used to it, but I'm not sure what this function this is supposed to serve.

I bought this G-key to add to my C-Key tremolo, I will likely add an Am eventually. I am a big fan of the type of sound you can evoke on these. I have found learning songs pretty intuitive, if you settle down and learn them. After numerous hours of playing, I endorse this harmonica.

Prompt shipment,excellent condition, performed very well right out of the box. Am receiving many compliments on beautiful playing. Does very well for small groups here at Christian City Nursing and assisted living. Play almost daily for various groups, breakfast, exercise class, church,gospel sing,front porch, etc. One lobby receptionist said "Wow! that was beautiful!).

The tremolo sound is beautiful, I really enjoy. The price and quality are unbeatable.

Ich spiele seit mehr als 40 Jahren Mundharmonika und habe überwiegend Tremolo-Instrumente gespielt, bevor ich mich vor wenigen Wochen an Blues Harps gewagt habe. Ich kann nicht leugnen, dass ich immer noch ein Herz für Tremolo-Mundharmonikas habe. Die Suzuki Humming DeLuxe Tremolo habe ich in G-dur und A-moll gekauft. Beide Instrumente (meine Einschätzung ist hier 100% übertragbar auf das Moll-Instrument) haben eine sehr leichte Ansprache über den gesamten Bereich. Sie klingen hervorragend und sind vor allem weder schrill noch spürt man Vibrationen vom Mitschwingen weiterer Stimmzungen. Ich werde sicherlich noch weitere Mundharmonikas aus dieser Serie kaufen. Man sollte allerdings darauf achten, dass Bendings auf diesen Harmonikas besser nicht gespielt werden sollten. Ich spiele übrigens sehr gern zur Gitarrenbegleitung. Dafür eignen sich diese Harmonikas hervorragend! Aus meiner Sicht sind diese Instrumente zu 100% empfehlenswert.

So far I got the key of A and C along with this in the key of G and they are all very good and easy to play. They are easy to keep clean with that shinny chrome. Very good sound quality.
