This prosthetic is handmade in the U.S. It is a hollow cast latex with fine blending edges. Its a great addition for any Mermaid or Sea Creature costume. You may also need to purchase the following to properly use this product: (not included with latex piece) Prosthetic adhesive (ex: spirit gum, pros-aide, etc.) Adhesive remover Makeup Face Powder To apply: Clean skin with a non-greasy astringent and dry. Position the prosthetic over your ear and determine proper placement. Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the underside of the prosthetic piece and to the skin where the piece will be adhered. After the adhesive has dried, press the piece down firmly, especially around the edges. Makeup application: After your prosthesis is firmly adhered, you can apply a sealer (pros-aide) to the piece and a little over the surrounding skin, then powder. You may then apply a makeup to blend, or skip the sealer and use rubber mask greasepaint to cover the piece and blend. Removal: Using a Q-tip, apply a small amount of remover along the edge of the piece. Slowly lift an edge and start applying remover underneath the piece. Keep working it under until the entire piece is free. Storage: After the piece has dried completely, powder the underside of the prosthetic where the adhesive was. Seal in a plastic bag and store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight. This product contains Latex. Some individuals may have an allergic reaction to latex. Do NOT use this product if you experience discomfort. Product has been powdered with cornstarch during the demolding process to prevent sticking. Β The photo advertised doesn't do them justice! The have holes to hear through and were comfortable to wear. They removed easily without ripping after being glued! I colored them easily with eye shadows and also used hot glue to add some piercings! The package was lost for who-knows-how-long, probably got sucked up in a black hole. Whenever I checked tracking on USPS I received *vague* statuses like it was being sent to 4 different facilities but the city/state/galaxy wasn't even specified.And then to add insult to injury I get the package magically. Maybe USPS is partly to blame? Who knows. Either way, being kept in the dark and no follow up to the status of my package (uh, had to contact them first. Not to sound entitled but, aren't you curious to see if your recipient got what they paid for?) just makes me uncomfortable to purchase from this again.Though from what I have received, maybe this could've decent. Not sure if I want to chance getting sent another one to be lost in timespace.
