A classic! I still look over the one I filled out a little kid. I’ve several over the years for the young ones I care about in hopes they get the same joy from it that I do after all these years.

My Book About Me By ME Myself completely exceeded my expectations! I was surprised at how large it is much bigger than I imagined and it’s packed with so many fun and meaningful activities. This book isn’t just a keepsake; it’s a creative journey. The prompts and activities let kids reflect on themselves, capture memories, and express their personality in such a unique way. I can already tell that when they’re older, this will be a treasured book to look back on. If you want a gift that’s fun, engaging, and full of heart, this book is a must-have! It’s playful, interactive, and makes memory-making so easy. Highly recommend for kids and families who love capturing special moments.

4/2017 Update: What a WONDERFUL keepsake this will be for our grandchildren! We LOVE Dr. Seuss in our home, where I'd babysat our three grandsons, prior to my daughter-in-law becoming a stay-at-home-mom (talk about a repeat of "empty next syndrome"!) When the oldest one began all day kindergarten years ago, we'd purchased this book and - seeing how much he enjoyed working on it - went ahead and purchased additional copies for the other two boys to have at the ready when it came their turn to start kindergarten. Well, I'm now coming back for a fourth copy of this terrific little book! We've collected every single Seuss children's book, but there are three books in particular that we've now ordered four copies of, because they can be personalized by the grandkids to make them truly "their own"! This one, along with "I Can Write! A Book by Me, Myself" and "I Can Draw It Myself, By Me, Myselff" will become treasured keepsakes, little "snapshots" of where they were developmentally that they can look back on one day with a smile. While the other two are terrific as well, this one is definitely our favorite. SIXTY pages just BRIMMING with fun facts your child fills in about him/herself, and be able to author his/her own little autobiography! This is somewhat along the lines of a baby book you'd receive as a baby shower gift, with pages where your child can trace his hand and foot, etc, but there's oh so much more in the way of fun facts for him/her to fill in to help them remember "where their head was at" at that age, with a little help from Dr. Seuss and many bright, colorful illustrations! Can't recommend this book highly enough! We've thoroughly enjoyed being able to so closely participate in and observe our grandkids' growth and development, and finding new ways to encourage both. These books have been fun tools to use toward that end. We truly treasure our little guys - we'd take a dozen more gladly!

While clearing out old books I came across a book my daughter had filled out when she was 5. It was such a wonderful book to reflect on! I now have a granddaughter, grandson, new niece all born in the same year. These books are gifts for them, even though they just turned one, I didn’t want to pass this by. Each page is colorful, with questions posed for a child in mind. Some have blanks, or multiple choice, pages to draw on, or circling choices. I see this as a book to enjoy discovering fun things about your child. My daughter learned to whistle! See page 50. Smile! Great learning experience. Such an amazing book to reflect on 24 years later. This book is a treasure! I will be giving my daughter her book so she can eventually share with her daughter.

My wife found hers from when she was a kid so we ordered 2 for our daughters. It was exactly like hers, pretty cool to keep the tradition going

I got this for my five-year-old daughter. I remembered someone giving it to my sister as a gift when I was younger and I wished I had one. A lot of the fill-in-the-blanks in the book require adult help, but even be beyond that - some of the counting blanks are just hard to answer (How many clocks/keyholes/forks do YOU have? Your kid is going to lose interest before either of you figure it out). There are still blanks we haven't filled in. She has really enjoyed coming back to it as she gets a little older and more literate (she is now 6) and answering questions she wasn't able to fill in before. There is definitely a fun factor for the child in being able to write in a book as well. I like spending one-on-one time with each of my kids. I did not enjoy spending time with my daughter filling in the blanks of this book. I found it tedious and time consuming. Workbooks we HAVE enjoyed doing together are the Explode the Code series - ironically, it's more educational than this book is and also more fun. Both my daughters (the other is 4) enjoy coloring the silly black and white illustrations when we're done doing the activities. Some of the more advanced coloring books (like Dover's) are also a good fit for us - they are a little more detailed so they feel "special." I was disappointed that we weren't able to do more with this, but it just didn't work for us.

My little sister had this book when she was small. I bought it for my young granddaughter, as I had bought it for my own daughter when she was about eight years old. I can't wait to see what my granddaughter writes in it. I'm sure it will be fun to read.

Love this book. I'm now 34 and I still have my book I completed (over and over) as a child. I'm now continuing the tradition with my own children. I also buy one for each of my friends kiddos!

excellent petit livre pour ceux qui apprennent l'anglais en première année de collège. On respire loin des tablettes... et pour les tout petits une activité et une découverte à chaque page. Même compter les boutons de ses pantalons, de ses gilets, manteaux etc... est un jeu passionnant! très amusant comme beaucoup de livres du Dr Seuss! Le quotidien et l'ordinaire sont pleins d'aventures il suffit de savoir regarder.

I had this book as a child and wanted my little boy to experience the fun i had filling it in. Unfortunately this one had already been completed so wasn't in the condition i had been led to believe it would be. However if you can find one in better condition it is a fantastic book for you and your child to complete together.
