This hub works as advertised.
I just got a laptop for the first time and I wanted to add some storage potential. This hub gives me four USB 3.0 slots to use. I've filled them all up and I can turn them all on, or off, or on one at a time, using the buttons on the hub. They all work perfectly...at least so far. No one can predict the future though...so far, so good. It wasn't pricey either. It is a powered hub to keep from drawing power from my laptop, but it will work without plugging it in to power too. What more can I say? I like the way it looks. The ports light up with a blue led light when they are "turned on" by their individual button(s). If you're looking for a hub, this one does what it says.

works great. no issues
replaced a plugable USB3 7-port hub which was intermittent out of the box with this one. Have had no issues with this one. Cheaper and much better than the other one. Going with the more expensive and more well known name brand does not always pay. This was a good case in point. Would give this brand another go if I need another hub. Update - 2 years later. Still working great. I don't use the charging port heavily though I do use it occasinally and it works fine for my needs. (charging a fire HD while I use it to keep tabs my dog via web cams in the other room while I work and occasionally for my phone). Got a new desk and was doing some rearranging and mounted this to the front right leg of my desk and wanted another for the left side for occasional use. My main use is for flash drives, external hard drives and pulling files off my phone. Since this one has lasted well I did not look around a lot and just ordered another one of these today. At the price it is cheap in the relam of usb 3.0 hubs. Hopefully it will hold up as well as the fitst.

Works great, plug and plan on Surface Pro 4, nice looking quality and modern design
Just as described and was plug and play on my Surface Pro 4, which only has one USB port so this is really a needed accessory if you are going to use a similar device to attach multiple USB devices. I used it to connect a mouse, Ethernet to USB adapter and external hard disk. All were plug and play through this hub! I did note turning power ON for each port requires only a momentary push of the appropriate button, but to turn off you have to hold the button down for a few seconds, which is mentioned in the manual. This is a plus so you don't accidentally turn of a port by accident when adding or removing another device. Great value for the functionality with the only negative being the power supply connection to AC not being 'thin' enough to allow use of adjacent outlet on a power strip. I have short extensions to get around this problem but wish manufacturers would all jump on the thin power supply bandwagon when the supply directly connects to the AC source.

Plug and play
Set up was simple. I plugged the supplied power cord into a wall socket, the USB cord into my laptop, then plugged my accessories into the hub and it was done. I bought the Tendak USB hub mainly to switch back and forth between powered speakers and headphones, but I have also plugged in an older HP LazerJet printer and a Logitech wireless mouse dongle. The hub works as advertised for my simple needs. Construction is all plastic of course which makes for a very light weight product that tips over if all input cords are on one side, but easily solved by placing one usb cord on left then one on the right. The switches are nice and feel like pretty good quality with lights that clearly indicate which port is in use day or night. With the power supply plugged in you get a reasonably fast charge from the dedicated charging port. The Tendak hub was a little more expensive than some of the other hubs I looked at and that will hopefully be justified with long term, trouble free use. I get the impression Tendak has some concern their product lives up to expectations. The hub comes with a power adapter, a card that offers an additional 6 month warranty if you register and an offer of free new product releases. Four stars until proven durability. 22/03/19 Additionally the hub caused some frequent wifi connection issues. This problem corrected itself after I disconnected and reconnected the hub several times and windows 7 finally loaded the required drivers.

Surpassed my expectations
I've seen the review of this exact product on youtube. There are now many cloned products. I cannot comment on any of the clones. Just word of caution - not all clones are created equal. So, I have old PC (assembled by me), with old case. And one of newer USB devices destroyed both of my front panel USB ports. So be careful with your USB gadget buying bonanza. I have plenty of USB ports in the back of PC case, and some of them are even USB 3.0. I decided to prolong my PC life with this USB hub. Device itself has 4 ports, which can be individually turned on and off. USB hub comes with uplink USB cable, so no worries, you will be able to connect it without buying any extra cables. You need to power it using suppplied PSU brick. When I say surpassed expectations, I mean that, it works as an OTG device, my phones, cameras, audio DACs got recognized, there was no need for me to reinstall any drivers, it's rarity these days. Highly recommended!

High frequency noise when in use
I can't speak to the performance of the hub since I only had it plugged in for a few minutes. Unfortunately, when I plug a powered device into the hub, it makes a very high-pitched whining noise. I purchased this device to use with audio recording equipment, so that was a deal breaker for me. It's possible that the noise was too high-pitched to be captured by my recording equipment, but I think it would still be distracting, regardless. I don't know if the hub I received is faulty or if they all have this issue.

Great help with external storage for iPhone
So my iPhone ran out of storage space on the cloud and on my phone. I didn’t want another subscription (in this economy?) so I looked for solutions on YouTube. I watched a video that suggested this device along with an Apple lightning to usb and an external storage device. It works perfectly! The whole setup including 2T storage cost me about $130 but I’ll save a bunch over a subscription. I’m pleased with this setup

Affordable USB hub with solid performance but basic build
I’ve been using this USB 3.0 hub to expand the ports on my laptop, and overall it’s a practical and budget-friendly solution. 💻 Setup: Laptop + mouse + keyboard + USB drive 🔥 Pros: • Adds multiple USB ports instantly, very useful for laptops • Fast data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps (USB 3.0) • Plug & play, no drivers needed • Works with different devices (flash drives, keyboard, external HDD) • Compact and easy to carry ⚠️ Cons: • Build quality is average (mostly plastic) • Can get slightly warm when multiple devices are connected • Not ideal for high-power devices unless using powered version • Cable could be longer 📌 Performance: Handles basic peripherals like mouse, keyboard, and USB drives without issues. Data transfer is noticeably faster compared to USB 2.0, especially when moving files. 📌 Final thoughts: This is a great entry-level USB hub if you just need more ports for everyday use. It’s not premium, but it does exactly what it promises at a very reasonable price.

Reliable & durable product, withstands dust!
Bought this bcoz by some miracle my super ancient Macbook Pro was still working, but had limited ports. And I wanted to hook it up to 2 monitors for a more comfy working from home set up. But I ran out of ports for a floating keyboard, a mouse and something else. So I bought this. I'm not technically savvy, I connected this to the Macbook and everything else connected to it, so it did what I needed so I'm a happy customer! Thank you! Highly recommended! Note: sincecthen, RIP the Macbook but the product is still going strong!! Please no judgement on my dust collecting product. I'm allergic to dust :)
