Really puts out the light, but...
Wow, does it put out light. This is the brightest barbecue light I have ever seen. That said, it has a couple of problems. It doesn't really like fitting on our oblong (cross section) barbecue handle. The touch light switch is smooth and works well, but you have to be careful because if you quit barbecuing and accidentally touch the switch without paying attention, you could leave it turned on in certain situations, like putting the barbecue cover on. I think the packaging said not to leave it in the rain, which could be a problem for some barbecues that aren't under a balcony. Although I don't have the package, I think it said the light could be used on a bike. Seems to me it would be great for that.

I am disappointed. There are two major flaws
I got this to replace another light that finally bit the dust after ten years. I am disappointed. There are two major flaws. The touch control to turn it off and on is way too sensitive. I've accidentally turned it on a few times just closing the lid of the grill and burned through three AA batteries unnecessarily. Second, the attachment is very flimsy and I am sure will break soon.

Price went up over 200% since buying it last month!!!
Great lamp, deserves 5 stars. Paid $9.95 for this item last month, recommended it to my father in law and today they are selling it for $24.95 as I write this review. Won't be buying another item from these people. Now you get 2 stars.. Increasing your price over 200% is not how you keep customers.

Great Light for the Grill
This product is pretty cool. Well built and easy to install. What I like the most is the brightness of the product. Lights up the whole grill surface area. What also impressed me was an email from the owner thanking me for the purchase and asked for suggestions to make the product better. I offered some suggestions and he replied which also impressed me.

Seemed to melt after being on my grill
It is definitely bright, seemed secure on my grill handle. However, it's all plastic and seemed to melt while attached to my grill. Idk if other people had this problem, but it seemed like a poor design to make a grill light that can't stand up to heat.

My husband was very happy when this arrived. He is going to use it on his smoker. It is very bright and can be used on many things. Very durable.

And the little screw holding battery panel bad = lost cover
No! Touch sensitive in WRONG PLACE. Goes on accidentally & if in daylight, you don't notice. Also the batteries need to be changed cause of faulty switch. And the little screw holding battery panel bad = lost cover!
