1 Inch High Threshold Ramp for Door, 43 Wide, Wheelchair, Doorway Ramps - Powered Wheelchairs - Heavy Rubber Works Well Outside

We recently had a wheelchair built off of our deck. We had the builder use Trex so it would be the same as the rest of our screen porch/open deck.We needed a transition piece at the start of the ramp. I found these on amazon and ordered 2. One for the part of the ramp outside and another for the smaller ramp built from our porch to the interior of the home.They work beautifully. They have substance to them and have not moved an inch since we put them down. The contractor who built our ramp took pictures of the product and ordering information as he was also quite impressed with them.I highly recommend this product.

Just wish it came in different lengths. Was too long for my doorway but it was pretty easy to cut with a saw.

This includes the family member and care takers, too.We have our second family member in a wheelchair. When my father was alive, he could not roll his wheelchair outside due to the door jam. Since he required 1:1 care, I never considered options were available to make his and my life easier. Several weeks ago, my brother is now in a wheelchair and he mentioned the door jam issue.As I want him to be as independent as he can, I set out looking for an indoor ramp with variety of heights. I came across this item and bought. I AM DO GLAD that I did!It’s wider than the door which is fine, it is level with the door jam and installation was the EASIEST! LITERALLY, just lay it down.My brother can get out of the house onto the back porch by himself … which resulted in another issue - needed a different ramp for the porch.

I bought 2 of these to put at my 42 inch exterior doors. Perfect width and for 1 door it was the perfect height. I had to shave a tiny bit off the top for the thickest part for the other door only because the sweep at the bottom of the door kind of grabbed the ramp and moved it. Now they both work perfectly as I intended.

Wheelchair passes over doorway so easy now

I recently moved in to my new home and a couple of my favorite things are my four season heated porch and my Shark Robot Vacuum. I leave the sliders open all the time, but my vacuum was not able to get over the tracks. Problem solved! They do have a smell to them, but I am hoping that it will fade out.

This ramp was perfect for our daughter and her wheelchair to enter and exit our residence. Will keep this on mind and tell her friends! Heavy which is what it needs to be to stay in place. Works great!

Very useful but too smelly to put indoors. It takes several months to lose its strong chemical smell.
