I bought four of these for a month long trip to Europe. We kept our back up money cards and papers in the pocket. They were very comfortable and you could forget that the storage pocket was there. ( I even wore it to yoga with passport and papers for a trial run before we traveled). It gave me peace of mind to know that I had a back up totally separate from the money belt. Also since they are nice and long and comfortable cotton they were nice to tuck into pants and provide a black fabric background when you had to dig in the money belt in public. They wash and dry quickly when washed out by hand in the sink. They are such high quality and so comfortable that I wear them on a regular basis now that we are home. We did take them and our money belts off and put them in our carry on luggage when we went through TSA but I am not sure if this was actually required or not. They folded up very compactly and were easily donned in the first bathroom we came to after security. A passport does fit in the pocket just fine but we carried the passport in the money belt as we had to access it in public from time to time. Well worth the money we paid for them.

Having the pocket in front provides easy access to my cellphone and passport. The pocket is surprisingly roomy. It holds my cellphone, passport, credit cards, lip balm, and small hand lotion bottle. It's perfect if you are trying to do carry-on only and need every inch of space in the carry-on bags. I am a small and this is tight on me. The seller doesn't offer an exchange policy, rather, the item must be re-ordered again, including paying the $6.50 shipping fee. Unless your figure is like the model, it may be worth sizing up if you want a little bit more room.

Fit and quality:Like others have said, this tank runs small. I normally wear small shirts that fit snug, but got the medium [based on reviews]. I think I should have gotten the large. The medium fits SUPER snug on me. Not uncomfortably snug, but hard-to-take-off-the-tank snug. It took me a good 5 minutes struggling to take off the tank [especially when its 80 degrees F]. It took that long mainly because I did not want to rip the seams on the side of this expensive tank top. The seam quality does look excellent, so it might take a lot of abuse and stretching before it unravels itself. The 100% cotton fabric is definitely comfortable, no question there. Medium tank has a length of about 27 inches from shoulder to bottom. Not too long that it will bunch up when tucked in.Zipper pouch:This is made out of the tank top fabric. Carefully sewn onto the tank top. Every corner is sewn well together. I am confident it will hold my US passport and cash securely. Pocket is big enough to hold the US passport vertical or horizontal. The passport does create a rectangle shape when the tank is on. Two solutions is either wear a baggy shirt or at least a non-form fitting shirt. Or, like one of the other reviewers mentioned, you can wear the tank backwards so the pocket is resting at your lower back above the waist [at least for me it does]. Now trying to access the pocket from behind requires some flexibility. If you can't scratch your middle back, forget about it haha.Price:I am cheap and lazy. But more lazy now that I make money. This price is a lot for a tank top with a pocket. For the average DIY person, buy zipper $1, buy fabric 1$, thread 1$, find an undershirt you already have. Proceed to sew together a zipper pocket shirt for under 5$. Supply and demand I guess..Real world use:Ill have to get back to you on this when I go travel :)Although now that I think about it, this would work well for going to clubs/bars when you just need ID and cash/card.

I had always had worn around the neck money bag when traveling to Europe, but it was too bulky and the strap was annoying around the neck so I decided to try these tank tops. How convenient, wash and wear is good. the tank is long and I ordered the next size up. Very comfortable. It will fit nicely 2 passports a few credit cards and money. (I carried my husbands & my passport in the tank) I had kept these securely in the tank and carried a over the shoulder purse for little things like a few dollars and sunglasses. If anyone stole my purse they would only get insignificant things and my valuables would be safe right on me. The passports are a tight fit but once there in, its good to go. Zipper works great. If you wear another shirt over the tank you'll notice a bit bulky in the stomach area but not significantly and if you layer or wear a scarf no one will even notice.. I ordered the black and the white. The white is very thin so you will have to wear another shirt over it. The black is good to wear by itself or w/ layers. I found easy access if I needed to get my CC. I gave it 5 stars!! Enjoy your travels!!

This shirt is great! I can hide my passport, cash and credit cards when traveling and feel completely safe and secure. I wear this tank under another shirt or camisole and you can't notice anything at all. The material is very soft and feels nice against the skin. I don't think these shirts are designed to wear alone but underneath another shirt. If you wear it this way nobody can tell that you have goodies stashed! Highly recommend!There are many comments about the sizing and I must say they run small. I normally wear a Medium but ordered and XL and it fits perfectly.UPDATE: JUNE 2015. I LIKED THIS SHIRT SO MUCH I ORDERED AN EXTRA ONE IN THE EXACT COLOR AND SIZE. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE THE SHIRT WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SIZE (MUCH BIGGER). I THINK THE COMPANY CORRECTED THE SIZES BASED ON THE CUSTOMER REVIEWS. WITH THIS NEW INFORMATION I WOULD SAY THAT THE SHIRT RUNS TRUE TO SIZE, NOT 2 SIZES SMALL. STILL A GREAT SHIRT.

Love it! Great for keeping passport, wallet and even keys. Take it with me every time I travel. The one I have is getting old and needs replacing. I truly hope this valuable tank top is available again!

Der Elasthan-Anteil ist recht hoch, dafür leiert es wahrscheinlich nicht schnell aus. Ich hab Größe L bestellt, nachdem einige Rezensionen schrieben, das es klein ausfällt. In der Tat sitzt es jetzt etwas locker aber gut, ich trage normalerweise M/38/40. Es sitzt leicht tailliert. Wer es gerne richtig enganliegend mag, der kann seine normale Größe bestellen. Das Shirt macht einen ordentlichen Eindruck, Nähte scheinen gut verarbeitet zu sein. Das Brusttäschchen ist aus Satin oder Seide, so dass es sehr angenehm auf der Haut ist und kaum aufträgt. Ich freu mich drauf, es auf Reisen in der Stadt oder auch beim Yoga-Kurs tragen zu können. Scheint echt ein super Multi-Purpose-Traveller Item zu sein.

Probably a bit expensive as a t-shirt, but decent quality and a good pocket that takes quite a bit, so all in all it's worth it for the peace of mind. The pocket will comfortably take a passport, money, cards - though beware the more weight that's in it, the more the top is dragged down (fine if you have a bathing suit underneath, but perhaps not so much if not!)Washed well, easily ironed - it's been put away for use on future holidays!I'd buy more if there were other colours.... black/white/grey is a bit limiting - some bright colours would be lovely in the sun

Soft cotton with a discreet pouch that easily holds my passport and credit card. Superior to the holder I currently use for travel that hangs on my neck.
