I love this product!!!
Ok, so let me start by saying I was cautiously optimistic this system from HB Brewing was going to be better than the previous one I had tried. I mean, sellers make all kinds of claims in their listing so I was excited to see if I was going to have better luck the second time around. The answer is a strong YES!Here is my feedback for the HB Brewing Nitro Keg System. First things first, initial impressions are important. I was happy to see the system came packaged in a nice color graphic gift box. This is a nice touch if you want to give this to someone as a gift, but it also was a much better first impression over the first unit I bought from a different brand (which came in a brown generic box that made the product look cheap). I went with the black powder coated keg. It looks sleek on my counter. Oh, and it fits right in the refrigerator door, which is awesome for easy storage.Another nice surprise was the instruction manual. It was easy to understand, and very simple to follow. One important thing to note is the tap handle was of a higher quality than the one I had previously purchased. This is worth calling out because the last one I bought had a slow continuous drip for several minutes after I stopped pouring my drink. It was really annoying and messy. The tap handle on the HB Brewing system shut right off with zero drips after a few seconds of completing the pour.Overall I am really happy with this system. It provides a great cascading pour and the taste is just like Starbucks, if not better because with every cup I am saving myself $$$!!A few additional tips:1) You will need to purchase the N2O canisters separately. They do not come with the unit. For whatever reason all these systems (no matter the brand) can't seem to also sell the N2O canisters. Not a big deal though, I purchased the following brand of N2O canisters on Amazon and I can say they worked really well with this system (Creamright Ultra-Purewhip 24-Pack N2O Whipped Cream Chargers – you can search for this brand on Amazon). The nice thing about this type of canister is you only need to use one per batch of coffee, so they last a while!2) You will need coffee concentrate. You can either purchase the coffee concentrate or make it yourself at home. I enjoy making my own but also find it easy to grab a Venti size cup of concentrate from my local coffee shop or just directly at a grocery store and then use that in the keg to make my next batch of home brew nitro coffee.I will provide an update to the review after a few months to report on the durability of the system and if there have been any issues. So far I am really happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone that would like to enjoy some Nitro coffee in their home!

Works great at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a cup at a coffee house
This is a solidly built piece of equipment and works great for my use.The quality of the components, the machining and the complete assembly are impressive to me. This unit makes it very easy to make 48 ounces of infused coffee. It's great for me because I can choose the coffee I want to infuse. I've tried the concentrated syrups, but am not impressed for the price. The taste of the bottles concentrate is not anything to go wild over either in my opinion. In the end the cost of the concentrate doesn't justify using it for me. Aside from convenience, cost of store purchased drinks was a big driver for me to try this.I brew my own cold brew in large 64 ounce mason jars in the refrigerator for about 24 hours per batch. I use about 48 ounces per batch of cold brew in the unit and leave overnight to infuse the gas. Coffee I have been using is Velvet Moon from Costco which I grind coarse.I've been using the Blue Flag Whipped Cream Chargers N2O Nitrous Oxide 8-Gram Cartridge for Whipper Whipped Cream Dispenser (50 Packs) purchased from Amazon. The resulting beverage is not as creamy as a store purchased drink and I think it's because of the nitrogen versus nitrous oxide difference. It does not hold a head as long as a store purchased drink. Regardless, you're looking at a comparable drink at a mere fraction of the cost. 16 ounces of beverage winds up costing less than $.40 versus almost $5 for a store purchased drink.I have gone through about half of the box of cylinders I'm using and will look into using a different type in the near future to experiment.I also plan to try this with some stout beer to see how it works. All said, I really like this product and believe it will hold up for a long time. The cost of the unit may give you sticker shock, but if you use it like I do, you will recoup the cost in a short amount of time by cutting down on your frequency of purchased drinks outside at a retail store.I recommend this if you're into enjoying your coffee as much as I do.Life is too short to drink crummy coffee! This product definitely helps with that!

Tastes great and looks good on my counter!
I love this product!I bought this because I was tired of spending $6 a day at Starbucks. I researched several and even bought a few before this one. They were cumbersome and the coffee was bitter. I finally came across this one and was amazed by the ease of use and the taste. The taste is amazing and so smooth. I highly recommend this product. And it looks super cute on my counter too!!
