Don't buy this compressor
I use this in my home woodshop. After using Emglo compressors for 30 years in the building trades I hadn't realized they had been bought by Dewalt, whose tools I used for years and now can't stand because of poor quality/performance. This compressor is right on line with the rest of Dewalt's tools. Being in Colorado, I bought it because of the Emglo brand and the fact that they advertise a cold-start feature. This compressor hates to start at any temperature below 70F. If you live in a cold climate, and you want to spend a lot of time going back and forth between the compressor and service panel to reset the breaker, this is the compressor for you! Extremely over-priced. Buy one of these and you'll be as sorry as I am unless you live in a warm climate.

Terrible!
Replaced our 15 year old EMGLO compressor with a DeWalt EM810-4M. The unit performed well for 16 months then pressure problems began. The unit was taken to the DeWalt Service Center in Anaheim, California where it still sits after 3 months. DeWalt, who owns Emglo, has a backlog of parts that goes back months. They informed us to contact DeWalt Customer Service to "escalate" the case as the service center couldn't do anything. So we called DeWalt's customer service department (Nancy, Meila, Stephany and their supervisor Sal) several times and the situation became even more frustrating and infuriating -- their message was clear "we cannot do anything to resolve this matter. In the meantime, DeWalt continues to sell the EM810-4M knowing they cannot "service" these units if they break down.Ironically, the new DeWalt compressors are basically a yellow version of the original Emglo, but paint does not equate to quality of craftsmanship or service.

this compressor has a hard time keeping up with 1 ...
this compressor has a hard time keeping up with 1 nail gun let alone 2. right out of the box the check valve sticks, which is probably why it cant keep up. but I have not had time to work on it, you shouldn't have to work on something brand new.
