The Last Day of Kindergarten

This is an absolutely ADORABLE book. The content is awesome and perfect for children, and the illustrations are bright, colorful and well done. The story of a child's last day of Kindergarden, from cleaning up the classroom and being sad that it's the last day of school, to the excitement of "graduation" and moving on to 1st grade. An excellent end of the year book for parents of elementary aged children. It would be a superb book for Kindergarden teachers as well to read to their class to prepare them and excite them for the last day of school and the world of first grade.

This book is great

My son just graduated kindergarten and this book was the perfect read. Very nice and easy to relate. Loved the Illustrations too.

Loewen deftly captures the highlights of the Kindergarten year, the apprehension a child must feel at leaving that familiar world and moving on to 1st Grade. The ending is perfect, full of joy and excitement for the future. She is one of the best children's writers out there.

I purchased two of these for my grandchildren graduating kindergarten. It's a short but sweet story. The illustrations are gorgeous! Your child will love this as much as the adults.
