Works great and I love the look
I had been thinking about a phone stand for my Samsung Galaxy Note8 for some time but didn't order one until I learned about this unit, and I'm glad that I did. This item was developed by people with an eye for design. It has a cool look - cool enough that I *like* how it looks on the back of my phone, especially when compared to the very utilitarian stands whose designers seemed not to care at all about appearances. It's made of solid metal and looks to be powder-coated, which is the same treatment you find on many custom motorcycle and automotive parts. If you care about the appearance of your personal accessories (as you should if you work in a white-collar world) then this device is worth the measly extra couple of dollars you'd spend compared to purchasing a generic phone ring/phone stand.I had an old UAG case on my phone that was falling apart and that was made with deep recesses on the back of the case where the stand would go. I was certain the stand wouldn't adhere to it so I purchased a new case at the same time that I purchased this device, making sure the case I chose was flat and smooth on the back. I was still concerned that the 3M adhesive (not some cheap no-name tape) wouldn't hold, but it's been on for three days of regular use and so far shows no signs of detaching.I have large hands (XL glove size) and the ring is large enough to comfortably accommodate even my middle finger, though I don't use this device as a ring so much as I use it as a stand.I've tried to use the air duct attachment feature of this device, but with a phone as large and heavy as a Note8 it just doesn't work well. The phone sags and requires ongoing attention to keep it attached, and I worry about damage should my phone fall from the vent. This is not a big deal, as I had no intention of using this device for that purpose anyway: It's a phone ring/phone stand after all, not a phone holder. Maybe it will work well on smaller, lighter phones, or when traveling as a guest in a car that doesn't have a phone holder for the passenger seat. All things considered, I'd recommend this phone ring/phone stand to anyone looking to buy one.UPDATE: I've used this for a while now and I like it more and more. I just really like how it looks, especially when compared to those round, plastic accordian stands that make a $1000 phone look cheap. I also really like how well the unit works as a stand. In landscape mode, it holds my phone at the perfect angle to read the news or watch a video while grabbing lunch. I placed it a bit too high to work as well in portrait mode, but that was my mistake. Just be really sure you like the positioning from a functional perspective before adhering it.As for wireless charging? My Spigen desktop wireless charging stand won't work with my case on any more, so I have to pop-off my phone case to charge it wirelessly. That's a minor annoyance and an acceptable trade-off for me since I prefer the speed of hardwired charging, but it's good to know.

Does not stick
Poor adhesive, does not rotate without it coming off, does not fit into vent where it’s tight and not fall out. Looks nice tho...

This iphone stand works way better than I expected
I was looking for a set of car mounts for our iPhones that would securely hold them in place while traveling in our cars. We had tried other products, but were dissatisfied with the performance. This simple but ingenious product is so handy that I wonder how I ever got along without. It’s very easy to use, just clipped onto air vent and work perfectly. It also serves as a kickstand, and since I use my phone as a clock radio next to my bed (I use a clock radio app), having the phone propped up in such a simple way is just great. I've been using it for several days now, and it doesn't show any signs of loosening. And the usefulness of being able to slip your figure through the loop as a more secure way of holding your phone is so handy that whenever I hold someone else's phone that doesn't have a ring, I feel like it’s so much less secure and at risk of dropping. It's also super handy for if you suddenly find your hands really full--you just slip a finger through the loop and dangle the phone on one finger, leaving both of your hands free. And when you aren't using the ring, it folds up nice and snug against the body of the phone; you barely notice it is there. Due to ultra-thin design, it also works well with my wireless charger. Out of the dozens and dozens of phone accessories that I've used over the years, this is by far the most versatile and useful. I've given so many people a link to this product on Amazon that I should get referral fees, lol.

Really Nice, Worked Well, Until it broke
Really nice product, was exactly what I wanted.... That is until it broke at the hinge from just a couple weeks of use

Good product except for wireless charge.
Product is good. Except for the wireless charging part. The first few days after we got it was working fine but suddenly it didn’t allow my phone to charge on my wireless charger. I put it at night to charge the battery icon shows it’s starting to charge my iPhone but in the morning my battery doesn’t charges at all and the ring and my phone are really hot. Good product, it can hold from the vents of my car but wireless charging feature does not work.

Does what it is supposed to
It's a really good product and extremely sturdy. Wireless charging works well with this and a case on as well but you just gotta place it in the right spot for it to work properly. The only reason I wouldn't buy it again was that I wanted to use the PowerShare feature on my phone but it doesn't work through it. Other than that, it does what it is supposed to and is good.

Awesome Accessory 5 Stars
This stand addition adds a nice touch to my Samsung Note 10+. I put it as high on my case as I could, my case is clear and I still wanted to use my wireless charging without removing the case. The finish makes it look like it is all metal, it also looks like it will never chip or fade. It is very smooth and glossy, these photos do it little justice. My phone back reflects all light and made taking the photos difficult. I give it a 10 for the finish, 10 for the 3M adhesive backing that it uses to attach to the back of me case. I was worried it would not stick well but I was pleasantly surprised that it stick solidly the 1st time I put it on. It has no problem holding my phone up in landscape mode, there is no issue with the angle. It rotates on its base so there are no limitations. It also holds my phone in my car vent with the built in slot. I am very pleased with this phone holder, it seems to be built well and should last a long time. I recommend it and would buy it again, it performs better than the $10 I paid for it.

Would Only Recommend if it lasted longer than 10 days
Welp, bought the product on Oct 7th, it was a little finicky to work with once it was on. It seemed to sit kind of weird however, today the "ring" on the back snapped off.....didn't even last that long quite a bit disappointed cause I really liked this but wasted money........
