Rubber Stick Dog Chew Toy, 12-1/2-Inch, Red

"Green stick" is essential to every walk we take. Whether it is carried proudly or dropped inviting a throw, this tough, weighty, rubber stick is a prized possession of my Border Collies. Not sure it's fair to ask for more, but it would be nice if it floated. We've had to retreive it from puddles and the lake when the water was too deep or clouded for the dogs to recover it themselves. I really appreciate the "heft" of this as it will travel a good distance when thrown. Since BCs move like lightening, they need me to "go for the fence" on every throw. The high visibility green is a help and in a good color range for the dogs to see as well.

Piece of crap...paid top dollar thinking this was a heavy duty, long lasting, hard to chew up dog toy...wrong! Not even 24 hrs old and our dog already has the end chewed off.

Great product for fetching and chewing, blue is easy to see. But it is a little heavy so be careful when throwing.

My dog is not interested in using this for "leisurely chewing" but it is great for fetch. I thought that she would like it better, probably just my dog's preference. The product is a great product and is worth getting, and I will probably buy again. I like it because I feel that it is safer than throwing something hard, she likes to catch things before they hit the ground, and a couple of times she has cut her nose jumping after a stick that was picked up off the ground. She missed this fetch stick a few times and it bounces off without injury.

This might be a great toy for playing fetch, but it doesn't stand up to chewing. It's a nice weight...a little on the heavy side so maybe not great for small dogs.

I gave this 5 stars even though my dog can't really play with it. It's great quality, love the blue color, and my dog loves gripping it with his little teeth. However, like an idiot I didn't realize that it was I believe12.5" long and actually pretty heavy material. Needless to say my 12 lbs. puppy (probably 17-20 lbs adult) can't actually lift it off the ground.Assuming that other dog owners who are purchasing this probably have dogs heavier than 20lbs, this is a great chew/throwing stick!!!

I purchased this item to play fetch with my 5 year old weimaraner. He is an aggressive chewer so this toy is "saved" for specific times when we are out in the yard to play fetch. He loves playing fetch with his Grriggles Stick. If you are looking for a toy to give your dog to "chew on", this is NOT the toy you should purchase. It is however a fabulous fetch toy. My weimaraner watches for me to get his toy and than, away we go, to a great time.
