Greater Than Games Microbrewers

The theme of this game is fantastic. This is the kind of game that seasoned gamers and newcomers would both enjoy. The only think that gets on my nerves is for 4 players you have to play in teams. The game is not complicated enough to deem teams a necessity. In my experience, the team games just end up being a 2 player game with the most dominant person making most of the decisions. Therefore, I personally suggest playing this game with 2-3 players.

This is a fun, high quality game!Very quick to learn and simple, but as you play more you discover more strategy than at first glance. The game is very compact and would be easy to travel with. The quality of the components is very high. I wish there was a better tracker for individual scores (they provide a small poker chip to track on a scoreboard) but the cards themselves have nice artwork and are good thick cards.You start by acquiring ingredients, equipment, and employees for your brewery. Brewing beers gets you victory points, but it is a balancing act to use all your resources to get the most out of each brew.I highly recommend this game. I LOVE beer but I didn't care for the game this is based on, it was too much like Agricola.This is a quick light filler game, that depending on the number players is either individual or team based. I keep a copy in my carry on bag. I've played for real beers at airport bars during flight delays. :)I love the fact that cards can be used as currency or be played for their abilities.My only complaint is the cheap ass mini poker chips they give you to keep score. I replaced them with 6mm dice.

A fun little game to pull out and play anytime, anywhere. Obviously, you'll probably enjoy it more if you're a fan of craft beer, but I think any fan of games will like it.

Wonderful game, super fun and a very reasonable price. We wish an expansion pack was available!

I like the theme but the gameplay is broken. Certain cards are more rare and you score more when you play them which is great. The problem is once you have played them they go into the discard pile and get added back into the game when you reshuffle during the game. This reduces the rarity.

Fun game. I loved it so much I bought a 2nd copy so now we can play up to six players. Even fun as a solo game. A lot more strategy than you would expect in "a box of cards".
