The chanter have 2 parts, mouthpiece with air chamber and lower half with finger holes. Every chanter has ferrule and sole made by beautiful craftsman and design. The seal area with theaded for the hemp. The package chanter with 2 O-ring for the assembly fitting. We have 7 other color ferrules and soles to select. For the beginner, eBook introduces the finger positioning and 2 famous music. Caring for the practice chanter : 1. Disassemble the chanter after playing 2. Keep the reed dry 3. Put chanter inside the padded case after drying 4. Our mouthpiece part(top part) is washable.

its a great chanter for beginner. Easy and smooth sound. Excellent build Quality.

A decent learning device
The case is nice and lined with felt to help protect the chanter while not in use. I would have liked it to have a place to put the reed so as to not be accidentally damaged when not inserted into the chanter for use. The top portion doesn’t fit as snug as I would like it to, and is somewhat whobbly when it’s together. Overall for the price I’m not to disappointed, and to remember this is a stepping stone to a real Bagpipes.
