Love Stuff

A fantastic album. This is not to be missed. Come Get Your Wife is more of a country slant that I'll slightly give an extra point to by personal preference. Elle's got style galore. It's more than the voice, which is great. It's the voice matched to the style itself. The album has incidents jazz, rock, country, coffeehouse, bongo jungle, Winehouse, and more. But it's about the style, it's about the art of it. I would love to see her in concert, Pittsburgh or near! Ella is a true artist. It's not just about her voice and style, it's about the songs that she chooses to express, her way. Go Elle.

I freaking LOVE Elle King! From her sass and clever lyrics, to the sound of her voice, to her look and attitude. She's so great! This album is rock solid and doesn't disappoint. You'll sing a long to the entire thing, and get caught rocking out to it in your car by fellow motorists at red lights. It's not my favorite of hers, but I still love it!

I don't know what I had expected when this CD arrived. Our son picked it out and my wife bought it. She was playing it while we were camping in our travel trailer this past weekend. I happened near the door and could hear it. I was intrigued. Janis Joplin? No. Not really. But this young lady is good. Listening to a few tracks my mind wandered. Her sound was good. The music sort of "slid in" to my brain. I wasn't dissecting it but I was listening. I hummed along as if I knew what was coming but I'd never heard it before. Yes, I DID like it. A lot.

Quite a few great songs , a few I didn't care for , as usual . For me , I'm glad I got it . I don't listen to , nor purchase many artists after 1974 but , Elle has a great in your face / like me for me attitude with a dose of blues artist in her music

Saw her in concert and a work function along with The Brothers Osborne and Old Dominion. I had to pick up her body of work. I'm a big blues/Americana fan...and she fits nicely into that category...with a little extra spice.

This album is so perfect. I honestly am terrified that this artist will change her style to something that is more 'pleasing' to people these days. I fear that. I want more of this music. This music is pure. It's absolutely incredible. It's real. It's American, it's part of life, it's country and it is deep. I think Elle King can sing. She can sing my life away. This is rock. This is country. This is a combination and I absolutely love every song on this album. It's rare to find an album like that. I hope future albums of Elle King are just as satisfying. Great album to kayak to and I'm grateful that you made this. I hope you stay who you are and continue to produce amazing music as honest and perfect as this. Honestly one of my favorite albums and the songs have given me memories that I will never forget. Thank you.

Those that miss the emotional connection of music are missing a huge piece of life’s most sensual pleasures. I am listening to Elle King’s – “Love Stuff” for the 5th time this morning. This music moves me… all the arm hair raising soul and gritty guitar riffs make me feel like I am sitting so close that I am worrying about getting hit with a vagrant shattered drum stick. The music is in your face and makes you want more. Witty and creative lyrics that make you feel the memories and life experiences from a Mississippi bell that grew up in Ohio? “I had me a boy, turned him into a man I showed him all the things that he didn't understand, Whoa, and then I let him go”……..need I write more?

O disco eh excelente! Um dos melhores albuns de 2015 se não o melhor! Não tem uma musica ruim!!! Todas são excelentes!! Só não dei 10 pq a qualidade do LP não é muito boa! O buraquinho ao centro do disco onde encaixa o prato é justo, dificultou a retirada do vinil do aparelho, mas não só eh justo, como tem rebarbas do corte. Anyway, todas as faixas estão ótimas! Pra quem curte é um Must Have!

what a great suprise this young woman blew me away when I first heard this cd. her voice is unique and raw, it sounds like she has been performing for fifty years. what an unexpected treat. buy it you will not be disapointed.

Nice record with a great voice

Llegue a Elle King buscando una voz diferente a lo que habitualmente se suele escuchar y no me ha decepcionado en absoluto. Tiene un tipo de voz ronca, fascinante a la que le queda muy bien el tipo de melodías de este disco, cosa que varía muchísimo, probando diferentes estilos. Todas las canciones son muy buenas y recalcaría de ellas los los sonidos y por supuesto la voz con las que son cantadas. Si bien quizás Ex's & Oh's a mi parecer es la única canción comercial del disco, las demás tienen un estilo propio que me gusta mucho, aun así la canción es muy buena. Destacaría del disco: Under the Influence, See you Again, I Told You I Was Mean, Where the Devil Don't Go, Last Damn Night, Ex's & Oh's, Kocaine Karolina y Ain't Gonna Drown. No obstante, el resto de canciones también son muy buenas, quizás la que menos me llama la atención es Make You Smile, pero mejora según la escuchas. En un grandísimo disco.
