The white paint is like a matte powder coat. Each bracket came individually wrapped in plastic, they were clean, and the required screws were included (also in little bags and clean).I ordered 2 sets and I think they were a good buy except for the screws they came with.The longer screws for attaching to the wall would probably be fine for drywall alone but shelves should be attached to studs and it was hard to drive these screws all the way down flat into the bracket without it reaming out. At least extra screws are included but I did have to get better quality screws from the hardware store.I used 4 of them for an 8 ft bookshelf and 3 to support the back of my 4ft desk. So far so good

Very sturdy. Looks great on the wall. Came with screws. Holds a thick piece of wood. Items can be placed in front to make the shelves look like they're floating. Love them!

I used them to support my new granite countertops.Much cheaper than brick and mortar store stuff but better quality.

These brackets came with screws for mounting but the screws are gold, not white. If they are going to include screws why wouldn't they match the bracket?

Nothing to dislike. Nice hangers for sturdy shelving install
