This is a cool mod. It's hassle free for doors that don't have the pre-wire. It's bright and clear. The cool things about this is there's an on and off switch plus you can replace the logo or possibly have a custom one if the seller offers it. I am hoping the seller reads this feedback and responds to my comment about the custom and replacement of the pic. I would have given it five stars but the magnet should have been coated black so it's not so apparent when you open the door. This is better than the other ones where you can't replace the logo. Update 8/18/19, after reading the instructions on another sight, I decided to glue this underneath the plastic trim. Since I install it originally factoring the gap for the magnet being on top of the plastic trim, the magnet was not strong enough when installing under the plastic trim. I had some left over magnets. You can see the size difference. I glue it using the Stanley hot glue stick. It worked great. You no longer see the magnet and it works. I think you can make the original magnet work if you install the unit as close to the plastic trim as possible without interfering with the plastic when the door is shut.

I currently have a 2009 Honda Accord. I wanted to see how they would look on the car since I just bought it some weeks ago. I have not been disappointed at all! Installation is clear and simple. I made a decision to go with these lights over the same lights where you have to replace the door light bulb because I didn't want to have to change the bulbs more often. The GREAT thing about these door lights too is that they don't stay on constantly so the batteries don't drain fast. When you close the door, they give you a magnet to put on the bottom door seal to cut if off and if your door is open for a long time (1 minute + ), they will shut off automatically.

Easy to install. Make sure you line up the magnet so it turns off when shut.

It came super fast!! They worked perfectly I dropped them a few time accidentally🙄When installing, but they seem to both be fine! Seems like a good quality product!

This product will not install in a Buick Enclave because of the shape of the interior door.
