Activa SAND-4483, Scenic Sand, 1-Pound, White

I bought this sand so I could have fake snow in a Christmas ornament I was making for a co-worker. One pound of sand actually isn't a lot, but it allowed me to make three full ornamented, which was more than enough (as I figured it would be). It was a very nice white color, just as discribed. Some people mentioned in previous reviews that the bag had ripped open and spilled the sand everywhere, but that wasn't the case for me. Mine was still sealed and none had spilled out. This product is great for crafts.

I bought this sand to use in my wedding for my sand ceremony. This sand worked great for that. I had more then enough sand. Color of the sand was nice. Item arrived on time and was very well packaged. I would recommend this product for crafting or weddings.

I purchased this white sand for a centerpiece on my front porch. I filled a plastic sand pail with clean kitty litter (to add weight) about 3/4 full. I topped it off with this white sand and a starfish. I live on the beach so this was perfect!

I expected a lot more sand. This is the size of a sandwich ziplock bag, a mere pound. I think I imagined a lot more. Not sure what such a small quantity would be used for, I was putting it in jars and placing candles to sit on top. Will need a lot more and likely just go to hardware store or craft store. The quality is very nice, it's just too small quantity for the price.

Exactly what I needed for my project terrarium. I recently got a small round glass terrarium and I wanted to get some white sand for it. The sand's texture is very even and fine. It was more than enough for my terrarium and the color is a near whitel

I needed this for an experiment in a middle school where the kids received various powders (sugar, salt, baking soda, sand, etc) and had to do tests to figure out what it is. This sand is almost true white, but it wasn't as white as the other substances. I can't complain, because I imagine it must be hard to get pure white sand. It worked well enough, though. The kids didn't really know the difference because they weren't really comparing them. They only had the one cup in front of them and it looked white enough when not next to true white.

Used this for an art project that I needed to complete in my home. It would perfectly and it was nice not having to worry about cleaning the salt off of the stuff I could get at the beach.It is so fine that Anakin would lose his mind

Nice white fine sand. I bought this for a small "meditation garden" that I made. Exactly what I was looking for without having to go to the craft store.

Perfect for my two small "meditation garden". One pound of sand is not a lot though so you might consider get at least 2 pounds.
