"Cable Matters" - Great Quality Great Service
Great value, great quality.... and were delivered the very next day.... great service. These adapters I bought were very easy to install, the connectors were of great quality so no issues getting them to fit their respective plug or socket on my PC. I've had no problems at all since install. Very pleased and would certainly order from "Cable Matters" again when needed.

Simple, effective.. did the trick
Although this came as a pack of two, I only needed one but I'll admit that I was at the end of my rope by the time my little "apprentice" found them.To cut a long story short I have a workstation that while still hugely powerful by today's standards, wasn't fitted with the infernal eight pin PCi express power connectors. In fact, until I went to fit my pre-loved 1080ti I had no idea such a thing even existed. (I've been retired for a number of years now and haven't kept up...)So in goes the 1080 and in goes on six-pin PCi power line and ... oh shirt! Wait that's not a six pin socket - and it wasn't about to let me fit the extra six pin power which was originally intended for a second card in an SLI configuration.Oh woe was me, I'm stuck with the aging card that I'd got years back and wasn't really up for SLI... first option we found, also on Amazon was less than ideal - a pair of Molex-to-PCie 8-pin. While that would have worked (the PSU is more than capable of providing enough power - the cable runs would have been rather long and ugly.Enter these little beauties. They're only short (about four inches in old money) and connect the older 6-pin PCie power converting it into an 8-pin affair.Long story short, I now have a happy computer and I can learn to fly in FS2020!Thanks Cable Matters, you saved my sanity!

Cheap and cheerful on a 240W gpu
These were bought for a new graphics card that needed 8pin connectors, and they work fine. They are obviously cheaply made but certainly nothing that would cause any problems. I am running them with a 3060Ti that pulls 240W and they don't get overly hot or anything like that. The moulding and finishing are fine and will stand up to several plug/unplug cycles.Overall not bad for the money, and I would buy these again if needed.

High Quality
Spot on quality, not sure why you get 2... is SLI a thing still? They are what they say and appear to be OEM quality, which may explain the ever so slightly inventive price. You pay for what you get.Perfect.

You have to know why you are using these
Be careful if you're going to use use with a modern power-hungry graphics card. The PCIE specs say that 8-pin socket should deliver up to 150W of power, while 6 pin one only up to 75W, so both your PSU and card may not be happy - PSU overcurrent protection may kick in or a bad PSU may break during high GPU workload. It could OK if you're using these with a simple GPU (not requiring much of power) or you PSU is not concerned about overcurrent at the 6 pin PCIE cable.
