What every shotgun mic needs!
Might not be a better pop screen for MKH-416 or any other shotgun mics. IT. JUST. WORKS.🖐🏾 honest!

This pop filter is mediocre
I read the other review so I bought this. I also use this for my Sennheiser 416. I love pop filters from The Hook Studios, but this one does a mediocre job (I’m being generous). It is not sturdy metal mesh but some sort of flimsy soft metal mesh cloth. Feels cheap. Didn’t really stop plosives for me, and it’s floppy even as directed, double banding around the mic. It doesn’t sit right and gravity makes it point down. If I had spent $20 on this one, I wouldn’t mind. But this was $50. Too expensive for what this design is worth. Please design a better one Hook Studios!
