nGenius Boot Shaper Inserts, Pack of 8 (for 4 pairs of boots), CLEAR, LARGE (14in)

Simple idea, not very expensive and it does what it says it will do - keep the shape of the tall boot intact. I've tried them in my stovepipe suede knee high boots, and they do keep their shape with these inserts. There are however additional considerations you may have while storing your tall boots: You may want to place some kind of stuffing into the toe area so that part also retains shape. And the exterior of the boot is not covered. So depending on what part of the country you live in, and if you have full seasons that your boots aren't worn and actually stored away in your closet, you may want to have an exterior cover for them; something like the fabric bag protectors you now receive with higher end purse purchases. I have not figured out why the hole is in the top of the plastic insert. I don't think that you can use the hole to figure out how to hang the boot. Perhaps it is just something to be able to grasp easily when you want to remove the Boot Shaper Insert in order to wear the boot. Without the hole, your fingers may just slide until you find a way to grasp it. I'm thinking of buying more; I went a little crazy buying tall boots this winter!

Don't let the picture and description fool you - these are NOT 14" tall, but 12" tall (10" and 8" wide at top and bottom) and meant to be invisible when slid into boots with a 13-14" tall shaft. I love that these are space-saving: they can be hung flat on the wall from the conveniently-placed hole or hidden between tall books on a shelf when not in use, and they don't fold, flatten and cause boots to slump over time as rolled-up magazines do. Just be careful not to fold too aggressively when inserting or you may crease and possibly crack the plastic. I'd avoid leaving them in when storing boots flat for this same reason. Also be aware that they may be difficult or impossible to insert into boots with less than entirely smooth linings (eg. exposed heel cups, horizontal rips) because they are fairly stiff and must must be gently folded and slid in, rather than rolled and 'popped' into place. That said, they work great! My line of boots looks like a beautiful store display. :)

They are super easy and durable and work great! Wish they were the actual size they said they were though. 14" is actually 12.5" and when 14" was already smaller than you want its even more disappointing that you aren't getting what you are paying for. I wish they were honest. I would have ordered taller ones had I known

Loved this simple product. They are keeping the creases out of the leather on my ankles from storing my dress boots without flopping over. Plus my closet looks great. The plastic is stiff enough to keep my boots upright but doesn't crack and are easy to place. I would have given them a five if they had been just a little less expensive, but overall they were still worth the price.

Forget those clunky, hulking boot inserts! These easy to use inserts keep your boots' shape and closet tidy. Great price! I'll buy again for my remaining boots. Thinking these would make great gifts for others who have it all and appreciate function- not exciting but very practical.

These simple plastic sheets solve the problem without being huge boot shaped plastic things. They are stiff, so rolling them is not as easy as rolling a piece of cardboard, but after they are rolled, they slip easily into the top of the boot, spring to their shape and BAM - no more floppy, creased boot tops. They work and they are inexpensive. My kind of purchase!

Great! I have a good number of knee-high boots and bought these inserts for all of them. The floppy mess in the back of my closet is gone, and all my boots are now standing in neat rows. The inserts hold up even the floppiest boots and help them to hold their shape and not crease. I had no trouble rolling the insert into a tube and fitting it into the boots. A really simple idea that works well.
