Previously I had an Android 7.0 based system. This is significantly better. The unit is faster, more responsive and feature rich. The installation was simple. There is support for Canbus and when you first start the unit you get key car information : Battery voltage, warnings lights, door status etc.Once you are in you get all the features you'd expect: DVD, Bluetooth, memory card support, external USB support, decent SatNav, and apps such as YouTube.The unit comes with everything you need, even internal trim removal tools, which was a great bonus. I did not connect the reverse camera but it does come with one, along with full instructions for that install. The fit is perfect. The installation was done in half an hour.I highly recommend this unit.

Can't fault this at all. I fitted it to my T5 last night, I was slightly nervous beforehand as I'd never installed anything like this before but no problems at all! The hardest part was taking out the Bluetooth unit the previous owner had put in.I opted for one of the 'Used' ones and as far as I can tell the only damage was to the box. The unit is well protected with polystyrene inside the box so I'm not concerned about that and all features work as expected. If you're thinking about getting one, do it!!The native Navi app is also 10X better than I expected, I was anticipating having to install Google Maps or Waze but really happy with the existing one so no need!

My car doesn't have steering wheel controls so I didn't install the canbus. Device wouldn't power up, contacted seller who responded very quickly to tell me the canbus is essential, whether you have steering wheel controls or not, device will not power up without. Be aware, like any android device it does take a couple of minutes to boot up. Also the screen mirror is still experimental, there is a lag and there is no sound. For media it plays every file type I have thrown at it mkv, mpg, avi, everything.

I am very pleased with this head unit. It fits perfectly into the VW T5 dashboard and plugs into the existing cables. I like the way it integrates data from the van, fuel in litters (VW t5 fuel gauge is not very accurate) , speed, revs, millage, door open etc. It has two USB ports that can be used for charging or plugging in USB stick or hard drive for music and video. The video quality is really good, seems to play DVD and VCD formatss. The Sound quality is good. The sat nav is a bit primitive, but you can download and install any one you want. Overall excellent value for money.

Only thing that lets this down is sound quality especially when playing DVD’s.Was dead easy to fit in a 5.1, and the reversing camera is excellent

I am so happy to have ordered this item.It arrived on time and was easy to install.Everything about is fantastic. Makes my car journeys very enjoyable.

Really enjoying the multi media player, looks lovely fits perfect and sounds great. Only thing I would like to know is how to store the radio stations I like to listen to instead of having to search each time. I looked in manual and I says you can do it but doesn't show how it's done.

Brought this beginning of Feb 2021 , it burnt out on the 2nd of March ! Bluetooth is rubbish as soon as your phone is 50cms away from the unit it starts to break up . Paid £150 to get fitted with reversing camera and £60 to get it checked when it went wrong ! £400 down the drain . DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM !
