This etagere arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. It took my engineer son about 45 minutes to unpack, read the directions and assemble it.The directions say it must be placed against a wall and secured with the strap supplied, but I do not have small children in my family. I placed it in front of a window for my plants. With the heavier items lower, it is not tippy. All the supports make it very sturdy and the metal finish is perfect. My son had no trouble installing the screws, but it did take some force and he said I would have trouble screwing them in as I am a small person. It is a beautiful piece and I would recommend it.

I bought this bookcase because of the price and the 4.6 rating on Amazon. I should've looked at reviews elsewhere. If I had, I would have discovered that the holes made for the screws are not compatible with the screws they send you. The screws are too big for the holes. I am going to try and buy some smaller screws and see if that works. Otherwise, there is absolutely no way this bookcase will be put together. It is currently sitting unfinished in my office due to the poor design.The gold color is also a little different than I expected. It's more of a matte tan color rather than a shiny metallic gold. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Spring for a slightly more expensive version or you will be dealing with a headache.

This product came extremely well packaged and was easy to assemble in less than 30 mins. There was no damage to any of the pieces and the instructions were very clear. Excellent item and great value for money
