Egon Schiele Drawings...Vol.1: Beautiful Sketches by Egon Schiele (Expressionism, Portraits, Figurative, Fine Art, History of Art, Self-Portraits, Sketch Books)

This artist , who only lived to be in his 20s, painted drew and completed some of the most beautiful art ever produced in a short time. In some ways the trajectory of his life was like Van Gofh, except Vincent mainly painted a lot, and Egon drew a lot. This book covers drawings of people vs some books that include all of his landscapes and city scene. This is not for children as some models are au natural, and not in a Renaissance way. He must have been drawing constantly to produce so many fabulous pictures. This book has little by way of explanation. It is ideal for those moments when one wants to look at some great art without a lot of copy in between. It reminds me of a trip to a gallery. All the pictures side by side with little script. This is one of my favorites.

I thought it was a no brainer because it was so cheap but… yeah I should have known better. Terrible quality. Looks like someone Xeroxed images at their local library and but then together in a book. Really bad. ZERO color & grainy images. I would absolutely not recommend buying this. Run away!!!

While the 4 color cover looks nice the inside bl/wh pages look like it was copied from a copier running out of ink. Now I have to take valuable time to return this piece of garbage.In general-BUYERS BEWARE. I think I'll start shopping at my local bookstore instead!

Bought this book and was hoping it was somewhat useful to be able to see the quality of line work from the artist, but the paper is closer to a kids coloring book and the images after comparing it to another drawing book of the same artist is horrible. It's not a total waste, but it definitely is far from average. Some images are even cut off and lots of washed out images.

No color reproductions. Very disappointed.

Nice cover, awfull contents.No writing just pages of black and white photocopies of an assortment of Schiele's work. They are not strictly drawings either: most are poor b&w photocopies of watercolours and oils that have had the brighness turned up to try and hide the fact that they are paintings. The result is a book that resembles a cheap kids colouring book.I don't know where Amazon get the 4 star average for this book; the reviews shown give an average of less than 2 stars.I note at the back of the book it says printed in Great Britain by AMAZON. Don't know who they got to do it for them but they must have some really old printing equipment: probably 18th century. AVOID this one.

Some very good examples of Schiele's work, the reproductions are excellent. can't wait for Volume 2!

The cover of the book is fine, but the quality of the images inside is terrible. Worth buying for four pounds to have lying around, but don't expect a fantastically well finished product.

Ho acquistato questo eBook perché avevo già una versione cartacea che ho utilizzato spesso come riferimento o come fonte di ispirazione per i miei disegni e le mie illustrazioni. Mi piaceva l'idea di averne anche una versione da portare sempre con me in modo da poterla consultare ovunque qualora ne avessi avuto necessità.

I didn’t expect it to be the greatest quality for the price, but it’s straight up a book of what looks to be photo copies. Is that even legal to produce? The paper is crap and the images are terrible,absolute worst! So disappointed, don’t buy this.
