Really had high hopes for this product.FYI, received the board later then the scheduled delivery day (I did not allow this to impact the review/rating because this review is only for the product).I gave this product a low rating due to multiple out of box failures. Board only made it a couple blocks before the motor/belt had issues. Immediately reported the issue and performed troubleshooting steps. It took a week before I was offered a chance to replace the board. Took two weeks to receive the replacement. The replacement has the same motor/belt issue. The belt does not move. The replacement is worst than the initial board. Worst part is that the manufacturer states that there is no issue with the initial board. Even after receiving video evidence. I did not touch anything on the board. Just unfolded, charged, and rode. I have given up on this product. Two out of box failures.Also, Linky Customer Support is very very slow to respond. As of right now, can only contact through website and then through email once they respond.

Remote was difficult/unintuitive to use and would periodically switch 'modes' without me pressing any buttons. After about three weeks of normal use, one of the buttons snapped off, making it impossible to turn on the remote. Due to its regenerative braking, the board actively decelerates when used as a normal board if it's not turned on, so this rendered it completely unusable.I would give this one star, but they did eventually provide a repaired remote after an absurd six-month wait time and an attempt to charge me for a warranty repair. The customer support for this board is awful, but I don't have many complaints about the board itself. Its acceleration from a full stop is a little cagey since it's belt-driven and the belt can sometimes slip. I had bought it for my work commute, and riding an electric longboard in crowded city streets is incredibly dangerous, as it turns out. That's not the board's fault, but it's worth noting.

I loved the idea of the folding board for commutes. I purchased this direct from Linky. After some use my board stopped talking to the remote. Customer service is a little slow but within a few days they emailed me back and arranged shipping for repair. within 2 weeks my Linky was back and working. Hopefully they continue to improve the customer support and I can revise this up a star.The board is pretty good. Not as powerful as a boosted but with the backpack I can take this board anywhere. On some steep hills I was unable to take off as the single front wheel will slip and not gain traction. I ended up going downhill first and cutting a u-turn to head on up the hill.Over all the product idea is great and for a first generation it is working. I hope customer service really keeps stepping up and they make a v2.

Loving the Linky. This board changes the entire experience of commuting in cities for the better. I don't know what I did before. The folding mechanism works great and allows you to easily pop into a metro or bus for longer distances. Even better, you can take out the battery, fold it into a suitcase, and take it with you abroad for city trips. It's awesome. Granted, after about 1.5 years the remote started showing issues, but in contrast to other reviews here, customer service has gone out of their way to fix the issues - arranging pick-up, shipping at their expense and having a repaired Linky at my door in 2-3 weeks. Go Linky!

Great product and quality. Folding up in bag allows to be used to get to and from business meetings and work. Use daily for commute to work and meetings. Fold up just before and looks like laptop bag which has room for notebook and note pads etc. Very happy with product and would buy again. Extra wheels and spare belt adds to value and ensures will last long time.

My dad got me this board and I love it! Whenever I had my doubts on this board or the things making me not want to buy it, I would go on Instagram and message linky official profile page and he would help me answer my questions and more. Whenever I had a question he’s there to respond fast and he is very patient. The board is so portable and it is such a small, comfortable commuter. Thanks!
