Pink Sacred Water Lily 5 Seeds - Nelumbo nucifera

Very good turn out, almost all of the seeds sprouted and i can't wait till next year (it takes two years to get it to bloom) to see the flowers. i knocked off a star because it didn't come with any instructions on care or even how to sprout the seeds.

Not growing

I bought two 5 packs and 7 out of 10 total sprouted. Scar the rounded end as directed and place in cup of water. Put cup in the sun and off they go. Excited to see how they turn out.

None of my flower and pond plants did well this year. Started them all in a small green house deal in the house and when I transferred them out side after they began to grow, they all died. Maybe next year.

I got all of the seed pods that I tried out to grow to about 12", but then they died. I think they must have needed more nutrients than they got from my pond. I saved one last pod in case I decide to try again.

Unfortunately, for reasons unbeknownst to us, the seeds did not sprout. we followed the directions as carefully as possible, even taping the instructions on the containers in which the seeds were placed. It could well be we misunderstood the directions. The seeds arrived intact. The instructions were clear.

I planted both on a pot and in the pond never seeded. I clearly followed online instructions got none out of this. One star for shipment on times. Yes, it does not contained instruction.

I bought these last summer for my pond, I planted/potted per instructions and they did not grow. so it is not easy...
