Hacienda Tribal Rug, 5-Feet by 8-Feet, Brick

This is a very nice rug for the price, if it meets your needs. I needed it for my living room and unfortunately it's not quite right for my living room and it's too big to fit anywhere else in my apartment. It's sturdy rug that seems like it will be very durable, so it would be excellent for a foyer or other high-traffic area. It's much scratchier than I was expecting, however, because it's 70% jute and 30% Indian wool. I was expecting a higher wool content and wasn't expecting any jute, although I think that's what makes if durable and sturdy. I wouldn't recommend it for a living room if you like to sit or lay on the ground because of how scratchy it is, but it would be excellent under a dining room table or in an entryway or hallway. The colors are quite true to the image currently featured, at least for the brick color. This rug is also not reversible, although it says so in the description. The front is as pictured, and the back is nearly identical but has knots from the weaving, so if you're looking for a reversible rug, this isn't the one for you.

I purchased this rug almost two years ago so I am not sure if I have a valid reason for complaining or not. This rug is beautiful in color and design but it is REALLY thin, which has caused us issues since we got it. We have it over a Spanish Ceramic tile floor in our family room and even with a thickish felt pad underneath, there is zero cushioning. The other downside is that it's easy to bunch up if someone is sitting on the sofa and their heels push against it at all. We have lived with those downsides for all this time but the rug is now showing signs of tearing in places where someone's heels might rest. So we are replacing it with something thicker and more robust to the tall men wearing rubber-soled skate shoes that live in our household. We probably got our money's worth but it was always something we endured rather than enjoyed.

The media could not be loaded.  This rug is perfect for my living room. I wanted something the puppers could play on, but it needed to also be one that I could throw in the washing machine for cleaning. This one is lightweight enough to easily clean, but heavy enough for play time. I also really like the colors and design. I have furniture anchoring it, but you could use a pad or those corner brace things, too. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. For the price, this is a bargain. I added a gratuitous puppy video just to show the colors and weight.

The Hacienda rug is attractive in terms of its pattern and texture. However, even with a good under-pad, the rug does not lay flat. It bulges and bunches up. Additionally, the color is not as it appears on the website. I expected the reddish border to be more vibrant. Probably best beneath a dining table.

I bought this rug for our family room and it is a perfect addition! The colours are muted - we have a brick wall in the family room so I can tell you the brick colour is very accurate!. We definitely need to use a non slip rug pad under it, we have two big dogs and it does tend to bunch up on the hardwood floor as it's a thin rug with no cushion - it could be described as a large throw rug! It is exactly what I was looking for and I am very happy with it.

I can't believe I got a rub that looks this good for this price. Yes, it's thin... but I'm not looking to SLEEP on it, for cryin out loud, it's just laying there under my dining room set. And it looks awesome. It's got a hand woven vibe, the colors are subtle and almost antique-looking, it's actually a fairly even rectangle from end to end and side to side. For the money, this is a ridiculously good value.

The rug arrived promptly. It was rolled tightly and well packeged in heavy plastic. This rug is a little thin but for the price I paid it was a good deal.

I couldn't be happier with this rug. Everyone who sees it has commented about how great it looks.
