SET THIS UP in UNDER 5 MINUTES - LOOKS GREAT, ESPECIALLY WITH 2 MONITORS
After reading the few poor reviews, I said to myself "why go to the trouble"? But I really wanted an aquarium screensaver, so crossed my fingers with the download. Amazon sends the CODE needed to get the extra fish, if desired, and that worked fine. Best of all, since I have 2 monitors, the aquarium spreads out between the two of them, so almost no 'scanning' is needed. It looks like we have a huge aquarium, really gorgeous! P.S. I've been having such fun playing the Match 3 game series called 'Fishdom' where you buy fish and fill the aquarium with plants, etc. I love that game.. and enjoy the fish talking to me...EXCEPT a few of them look so sad when I haven't played for a day or so and comment things like "I thought you forgot us"...or "I'm glad you're FINALLY back". So, for my screensaver, I just wanted a beautiful aquarium, which is what this is. LOVE IT!

Beautiful but not sophisticated
The fish looked attractive if it were just a sale of an ordinary video. To excel in the realm of screensavers, it has to be a lot more sophisticated to be used with a computer. This rating is based on my experience of having an aquarium screensaver long time ago. (1) This Marine Aquarium took 9 seconds to launch the video and music and 7 to recover with dark screen at both ends and lingering sound, while a screen saver should launch and quit almost instantly not to obstruct the job at hand. Seven seconds is a millennium in the digital world. (2) The volume control is not in sync with standard Windows volume, i.e. one should not be shocked by loud sound after returning to one's applications with sound. My Quicken has a sound of an old cash register to confirm entry. (3) It allowed changes of background lighting but there was no option of automatic cycling, which enhances versatility. (4) I could not display the seconds in the digital clock. (5) It allowed user to add his favorite music in wma format rather than listening to Pachelbel Canon Guitar all the time. (6) In setting the logo list, one has to pick one, exit setting to see the choice and return to setting to try another. To provide a tiny preview could easily eliminate the hassle. (7) The display duration is lock in "10 seconds," cannot be adjusted and the random option does not include all the choices on the list. This review was based on Marine Aquarium Deluxe 3.0 version T511.3.0.1861 operating on Windows 10 NVidia GeForce GTX 645 with 4K display. I may have further thoughts later.

Working fine with Windows 10 so far!
I always liked these aquarium screensavers, going all the way back to Windows XP, but I stopped using them because they kept causing annoying conflicts between the program and OS screen settings/functions. Well, I just got a laptop with Windows 10 and my first "full HD" screen; thought an HD aquarium screensaver would be cool, and hoped that by now, they'd figured out how to keep the screensaver from interfering with the OS.Stuff I like about this one: it comes with a decent variety of highly detailed fish (30 I think, with a max of 16 appearing in the tank at any one time); you can pick/choose the fish you want to appear, or set it so that they all come/go randomly; their movements are pretty realistic; the tank image has a limited left/right pan function that you can adjust the speed of in the settings, and so far, I've found the program very easy to use and get in/out of.Stuff that's not so hot: the background music included with the program is pretty cheesy, like something you'd hear in a 1980's video game. I think the program will allow insertion of user-selected music in .wma format, but I haven't tried that yet.Amazon's instructions on download/use of the program could be better. For example, when I ordered the product, I received two separate e-mails from Amazon that appeared the same to me, but weren't. The first didn't include the product key. The second one did, but I didn't notice where it was placed in the message right away, and ended up having to contact Amazon support to figure out where it was. On the other hand, this was my first order of a downloaded "digital product" from Amazon requiring insertion of a manufacturer's product key, so maybe this is the way they do it all the time, and I'm just too much of a "rookie" at it (in any event, I did eventually figure it out and the product key worked fine).Anyway, I've got the program working now to my satisfaction; I've experienced no conflict glitches so far, and I really like the look and sound (e.g., bubbles) of it.

My anti-virus software would not let me download this software ...
My anti-virus software would not let me download this software due to the fact that it was last published in 2008 and contain malware. I an in the process of disputing this charge.

Works fine.
As expected, a fishtank without the cleaning and expense. They could add a "yulelog" fireplace, a storm at the beach, the inside of a running dishwasher, and a "spirograph"; and have them set to morph, alternate, or follow a commands....
